I thought I'd do a thread to keep all the tweaks in the same place.

This is my C7 S line. My last car was a B8.5 RS4 so it's taking some getting used to a 2.0 TDI multitronic!

Next was to sort the crappy light output. You're looking at tuned shutters and RV shields, clear lenses, Osram CBI's and 50w morimoto ballasts:

How much do all these lights cost then? After seeing the difference on your RS4, it's a must isn't it?

Absolute no brainer mate.

The other night in the C7 i had the full beam on for 20 mins by mistake and it was worse than dipped on the RS. The cost is in the labour so if you are brave you could do lenses, bulbs, ballasts and shutter mods for about £400. If you get Trups to do them then double it or more as you will likely get other bits done at the same time

Flipping eck. Why so expensive?

It's not really. Ballasts are less than what audi would charge for OEM, same with bulbs, and lenses are hard to make. £100 for some lenses for your car, youd pay double that down the opticians for your eyes

Thats s fair point when you put it like that. Yours got Matrix?

No just plain old non adaptive bi-xenons. LED tech is still not all that, my RS was well ahead of my LED BMW and SEAT after the mods. I'm taking some 'after' photos tonight after i have aligned them

Light output. Same f5 1/10 settings at the same time so no idea what is with the sky.

Asides from the cost in this, how hard is it to do?

Swapping out the ballasts and bulbs is 10 mins and no difficulty once you have tue car up and bumper off.

Titanium rings to match the rotors and sline trim. I plan to add a titanium splitter to the front once i find a decent one.

Did you have the trim wrapped or did you get hold of the OEM trim?
It's wrapped. I would do the trim if i could find it.

Cool. How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking? :)
Couple of hundred quid for proper 3m vinyl.

Little one today but one I've wanted to crack for ages.

Conscious winter was coming i wanted a deep boot liner but i wanted to retain the load restraining hooks. I finally found a liner that allows you to do it but stupidly the positions meant the hooks near the tailgate where on the removal section and therefore not locked down. So i swaped the rails around

Great write up.
I have just got the same load liner. What do you have to do to the rails to make it work?

Thanks. Basically unbolt them, swap the end caps around, mark the fixing points and drill new holes.
