I've had my Navarra Blue S3 for approximately 2 months now and I'm also not impressed. The color looks great but it is way too high maintenance. Finger prints/water stains/dust/scratches are very visible. If I had to choose again, I would have gone with Nano Gray Metallic.

Valid point. It's still a great car regardless.

Indeed...that's the trade off for having a dazzling colour when clean..lets be honest which colours are dazzling and easy to maintain...Floret is easy to maintain but can never be classed as dazzling compared to say a polished Navarra or Sepang.

I owned a pearl black MKI TT.225.phantom I think ...couldn't touch it with a damp sponge in the sun without it streaking and would show every swirl.mark, spec of dust known to man....and I obsessively cleaned it ....but it looked out of this world when polished and tbh still looked good dirty as it was still black...Navarra is still a good blue even when filthy....polished Navarra v polished Nano...filthy Navarra v filthy Nano....Navarra gets my vote on both counts...as it happens I came across a CD (remember those) with my TT on yesterday:....oh how it miss her....

Had my Navarra Blue since September and whilst it is an absolute pain in the preverbial to keep clean I wouldn't choose another colour over it if I had a choice again . Other trouble is that I can't help but keep taking photos of it when the sun's shining and she's clean

Every person who has seen my Navarra S3 Saloon Black Edition has commented on how they love the colour.

Without me even saying anything. Literally the first comment I get is about the colour.

I am sure thats because its a unique colour that goes from dark blue to light blue to purple depending on the light. If I order another Audi I would order it in this colour (even if it ends up being an expensive Audi exclusive colour like on the RS3).

Well, not a good day. Some **** **up'd of my Navarra Blue S3 . I will have to go with the dent repair option and not expecting a full restore with what I've been told. **** happens and must move on.

Sorry to hear mate.
Looks like a door in a carpark that's caused it?

tbh I find it no worse than any other darker colour to maintain. At the end of the day I chose it and did so knowingly.
Probably worse where you are because of the weather, which will show it up more.
Here, it gets dirty more.

grrrr!

Looks a little sharp from that angle.. and along the crease too...I have had some really bad dents taken out in the past with perfect results.....my guess is they will take most of that out but you may be able to see it when looking for it.....my last A3 picked one up in the first 5 days of ownership and I still blame a colleague for taking it for a test spin that week (parked it in a doctor's carpark)....it was too shallow to take out so after a few sleepless nights i learned to live with it.....be interesting to see the after pic

That will pull out mate,l had a similar dent on the drivers door just below the door mirror, took about 40 minutes if your paint ain't broken even better because that would show up even more after the dent had been pulled out

Navarra Blue is a standard cost option on the RS3,RS4....due soon and the RS5, its availability on the S3/RS3 will cease when production of the 8v stops... Audi don't transfer colours through from a existing range to a new range although sometimes l think they just change the colours name as Ara is identical to the 8p S3's.. Sprint blue and Navarra is identical to Mystic etc etc

There is no Navarra Blue option on the RS3. Don’t know why but check the Configurator. If you want that on an RS3 then its an Audi Exclusive colour!

WTF...yeah your right mate.....Audi dont.....after show boating it in this colour but it's available on every other new S/RS car, but get a exclusive paint it's almost £300 cheaper in the EU than in the UK.... Brexit....is too blame, besides that Exclusive colour's have got to BE......stand out from the crowd....no use in paying all that extra dosh for something that ain't original or similar to a existing paint colour........Viper Green is yer colour in a RS3..................LOL

Apologies if already posted but this is the best all-round look at a Navarra S3 I've seen:

Yeah, good video. The bloke was on here and posted it when he shot it from memory.
I've got all my stuff to do the callipers in red now, just need to clear out the garage.
Then mine will look much like that one.

Out of interest, to those with Navarra, does it attract much unwanted attention, from boy racers wanting to have a go and the like? Obviously colours like yellow are the worst for this and ones like grey at the other end of the spectrum and quite discreet, just wondering where Navarra fits in on the scale.

I don't always thinks colour's the factor, although i agree really bright colours stand out and attract attention.
Any idiots I've attracted (and that's not many) are probably because they've seen the 4 exhausts or badge on the back.

I don't think the colour attracts much attention other than some admiring looks. I have the hatch and I think that does attract the odd boy racer though as the 3dr is a bit more typical hot hatch if that makes sense.

I find the worst for goading isn't younger drivers but older exec types, I get it most days on the M5, just ignore them, lots of unmarked 3 series lurking.

I think the S3 tends to attract attention from boy racers as most of them don't seem to appreciate that it's noticably more rapid than the average hot hatch such as a Golf GTI, Focus ST, Leon FR etc etc. 300+ bhp and all-wheel drive is going to leave any 200-250ish bhp front-wheel drive hatch for dead at a set of lights.

Quite partial to my new Navarra...absolutely agree it will need very regular cleaning! Booking a quartz coating ASAP too.

I can be nothing but happier with Navarra Blue! Yes I agree, marks are very noticeable but if you've had a ceramic coating and PPF applied, they can be wiped off with ease.
