Well the old bus has now covered the staggering milage of 61k miles from new of which I have run up 32k of that , not really a great deal of miles but the rear discs are the original items and are now looking a bit ropey and deffo seen better days.
Now I know there is a whole array of discs around to put back on , I was going to do the S4 swap but for now i'll just replace the disc and pads with similar units albeit nicer items.

I am looking at the M-tech drilled / grooved ones (288mm x 12mm) , I wasn't overly impressed with there front discs that I fiited with the 18z's but after a running them in for longer and more miles they have become a lot more quiet so I am happy to give there rears a go.

Anyone running these and if so any feedback on them, EBC do similar items but not sure the extra cost will make a massive difference based on they are the same spec disc's etc.

any feedback would be great chaps.

M TEC discs are fine.
Wouldn't go with drilled tho, weakens the disc.
Dimpled or c hook design are the best option.

I've got MTEC front and rear drilled and grooved which have been ace, I understand peoples gripes with drilled discs and from a mechanical perspective they are supposed to be weaker/more prone to cracking but mine have been on a good few years with no signs and can't really see it happening, plus they look ace; quite often get complimented on them although they're supposed to be more function over form haha.

I have the drilled/grooved mtec fronts and they seem fine, a bit noisey for a while when I first fitted them but fine now, I must say though, I never had any issues with my previous oem 320mm drilled and vented front discs , after 30k they were fine, maybe some people get duff discs...

I'm running Mtec grooved front and rear with Brembos like yours Rob. They're ace. I'm running Brembo pads with the 18z's and they are a bit noisy/squeaky when cold with the grooved discs.
