I have a 2001 s3 amk. Im wanting to do the pcv delete and add a catch can and vent to atmosphere. I looked at the stickies but because of photo bucket there is no pictures of what i need to do which would really help. Could some one that has did this done and still have pictures help out. Thanks

You have two pvc outlets on the 1.8t. One on the top of rocker cover and one top of oil filter housing. Both outlets are the same diameter.

Personally I didn't bother with a can, I just vent to atmosphere directly but basically it's just a case of getting a couple meters of hose and a selection of 90 45 bends and t-pieces then plumbing all together.

If you use a can then I would imagine there would lots of jiggery pokery fitting everything in but direct to atmos is really straight forward and maintenance free.

And a massive danger to motorcyclists !!!!
Have you seen how much comes out? 6 months and none. Whatever is making "sludge" from the breather to create a drip would mean you're engine is in very bad health. No oil or any other crap come out the pipe my end. And yes I fitted a can....waste of money if you're engine is in good nick.

Is the reason for fitting one not so that you cut down on the chance of cracked or split pipes and also to have a health engine because the crap is not going back into engine? I will be getting a rebuild done so i thought adding this will help keep it healthy.

What's going back into the intake is minimal at best on a clean running engine.
Like I said if you got loads of stuff coming out of them pipes you have a bigger problem than just vapour.

Can I run a pipe from the oil filter breather to the hockey puck on the inlet and vent the crank case breather...

Simplest PCV delete is a pipe from oil filter breather, pipe from crank case breather, T-junction, straight to hockeypuck.

I made it as the guy above said, but i made it to vent to atmosphere, not in the hockey puck/tip. What's the point to pcv delete when it will go in the tip after all?
I have a question about venting into atmosphrere. From the T i run 0.5m long pipe, but when the car is not moving on idle there is coming a lot smoke from the pipe after 2-3 min idling. No problem when the car is moving.
Is this normal?
