Had an email from audi congratulating me on my order and letting me know I can track it through their your audi portal this morning. Car is currently at the Uk port waiting transport to dealership.

I had the exact same thing which definitely made me chuckle. A couple days after that email I got one saying that it was at the port in the UK. Certainly would've been an impressive build time if that was how fast it actually happened! Haha.
Does anyone know, when the car goes to status 60 - i.e. on the transporter on the way to the dealer, does the Audi tracker change or is the next update after "arrived in the UK" likely to be "at the dealer"?

Seems to be really variable. Some cars are in the UK within a week. My car got to the port in Germany and sat there in the parking lot for 3 weeks. It's now been sat in the UK port for nearly a week waiting for a transporter to the dealer.

So... got my order number from Audi. Registered an account with Audi and put in my order number and post code but it says it's not a match. Tried the dealer post code. Same thing. Tried the post code on the finance order. Still nothing.
Any ideas?

When did you place your order? I found it took about a week to ten days for the tracker to recognise the combination of my order number and postcode, which was a bit frustrating

I placed the order about a week ago but the order date on the sheet Audi just sent me was yesterday. I'll leave it a couple of weeks and try again. Got given an early December delivery date though. Which sucks as I was told early November and I need the car no later than 27th November. Eeeek

Once I got the order sheet from the dealer I was able to get the tracker to work about 24 hours later... Wow a December date!
Fingers crossed your date is moved forward. I've seen this happen to few people on here this week.

Me too. Otherwise I'll have to get a hire car as I can't see Audi providing a courtesy car. Haha.

So. Spoke to my sales exec today about me needing the car by November but their estimated date of delivery being December and she told me she has sourced another car with an earlier build date but she just had to confirm it tomorrow and would give me a call!
How is this possible? How can she just take someone else's order? Or could this be one that's going to be sat in a dealers?...
Anyone got any idea?... I mean I'm not complaining, just curious.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But I requested badge delete which chances are this one hasn't got. But I assume this is something they add to the order I guess?
I imagine that the order she hopes to amend to your preferred spec has not yet passed the cut off date for any spec amendments - an order in the system can be changed multiple times until it passes a certain date before the build week
Ordered 11/05/17 now Status 70 
. Now the wait for the lease company to be in touch to sign the finance agreement. Thought that should of been before it arrived at the dealership!

Yeah. I thought the same. I ordered through Audi as I got a good deal (I think). I've not paid a single penny to them or signed anything. Was told I just need to go in about a week before I collect to sign the finance docs and I don't pay a penny until about 14 days after I take delivery.

Well, unless this changes, I can't see this car arriving by 25th November when I need it. From experience guys, is this likely to come forward?

Of the four cars I've ordered new from Audi they've always come forward. My S4 was due to start on July 3rd but was actually complete and through QC by then. Now just waiting to be transported from the port to my dealer.
If it comes forward a bit and you keep on your dealer to get it transported quickly then I imagine you'll be alright for November 25th.

It's not the end of the world if it's not ready before my current car goes back. Would just save me the hassle and cost of a hire car ideally. But I'm holding you to it now so if it's not ready I'll come looking for you and you can drive me everywhere.

Might be a pain since I'm all the way up in Aberdeen, but sure, I always enjoy taking people in my car if they appreciate it!

My original date was brought forward about 3 weeks.
The Audi tracker usually seems to lag behind also and I've read a lot of people getting there's sooner than the tracker would indicate, so there's hope.
I've got my fingers crossed for an earlier delivery date than expected, not that I've got the issue with a lease car but just can't wait to hear that V6 growl! : )
My actual build date came forward a month... just be prepared for a bit of frustration during the "in transit" phase

Yeah, that's kinda where I'm at just now. Mine is sat in the port waiting to be transported up... Well, it was on Thursday so I'll need to check JSON tomorrow and see if it's being transported up the road yet or not.

FYI I never saw a status 60 (on the transporter) and believe me, I was checking regularly. Went straight from 40 to 70 (at dealership). Always changed overnight and never during the day.
Ah, fair enough! I'll just have to keep an eye on it then!
Annoying because it's been status 40 since the 12th!

My car is list as now 'arrived in the uk'. ****** hell thats over month quicker than the original delivery date!
The car only had to go from Shields to the dealership in Newcastle, about 15miles. How long will that take?
