I have a 2006 Audi A3 and I'm looking to put a flat bottom steering wheel in it!
I currently have the 3 spoke steering wheel and airbag!
I have been told one from a TT will fit, like the photo!
If I bought an airbag to fit the FB steering whee would it be plug and play?

Thanks for your help!

Was it just plug and play mate, no lights on dash or did it need coding or anything like that?

He guys a don't know how to creat a new post so neee to post on this, I own a Audi A3 s line sport back 2007 wondering if a Audi s3 65plate flat steering wheel will fit on.

depend if they are both mfsw or normal sw, then if the one from 65 plate is less or more buttons version, but after that, airbag, to check if it's double or single stage, afterwards physically it will fit.

I couldn't post two images int he same post, so I'll try show this in two replies. I had mine refurbed from the ugly, slim perforated factory wheel pictured here......

....continuing my first reply. This is my refurbed, much chunkier, flat-bottomed, sculpted wheel pictured here......

as said they will fit but you don't got mfsw so probably you will need the new control module, check the airbag if it's single or double stage, running the wires through, coding in vcds.

I'm also thinking of getting this done. I have a normal steering wheel without the buttons on it, how do I go about installing a flat bottom multi function one? I'm guessing it's not just plug and play.

there is a thread about it, searching is painless ;)
