Hola mi amigos,

So, I didn't spec red callipers from the factory when I ordered my S3 because i think it's extortionate.

Instead, I've ordered the red calliper covers from my parts dept as Im a sales exec at Audi and am going to give some bits the once over by taking the wheels off, painting the callipers and hubs (that rust gets on my nerves) etc. Problem is..... how to ensure the red I go for matches the calliper covers.

Does anyone actually know (no guessing ;) ) what colour/colour code the OEM ones are? Otherwise I run the risk of having the callipers a different shade of red and the whole outfit looking pants.

Ps, shame the red covers don't have the S3 logo as the black ones do, just "S" going forward I guess!

Take the covers into Homebase or B&Q and get them to colour match them and mix up 2.5 litres for you

I sell cars, not paints, nor do I work in a factory that sprays callipers. Lol. There's also a difference between working "for" audi and working "under" Audi in a franchise loll - two very different things

Would do but wouldn't be high temp paint I wouldn't have thought, thought it was tornado red but could be wrong. Looking like I'm going to have to wing it

Goods idea how much were the calliper covers?

Paint them black, it looks better
Red covers on red calipers makes them look cheap IMO !

Ohh....but what shade of black ?

Audi S3 MY16 Daytona Grey

Silver calipers might go with red covers.
Paint the calipers and covers in colour you want, ensuring matching shade and get S3 decals to stick on.

They're already black? I want them red that's why I want to match the colour to the covers.
