Fantastic pic Matt

And a carpark with built-in gaps too!

Came back to my car in Sainsbury's on Friday just as a car parked next to me but partially in my space meaning I couldn't get in the drivers door.
As she got out I asked if they sold can openers in Sainsburys. Why? she asked. So that I can get into my car I replied :wtf:

cheers man....it is without a doubt the best car park ive been too....qpark car parks, i think they're national but this was one in manchester, pre booked 3-9pm £16 which is half decent for secure parking in the center of manchester and it was immaculate with 3 levels....guess what level i was in :whistle2:

do you have pano roof? could have saved yourself having to buy a tin opener!

No jassyroof unfortunately. If the driver hadn't been there I'd have had to gone in the passenger side.

Tin opener line made me laugh.

But if they hadn't of been there I'd of went back into Sainsbury's asking for a tannoy message to be put out lol.

"Please return to your badly parked car"

Sounds Good !
Ps Progressive Car Parts Have Resonator Delete For £149 @ the Moment ?

Managed to get a couple of things replaced last night. I have finally fitted the US spec front grill and the Forge intake system (Please excuse the plate in the windscreen, it will not be going there, I need to find place to locate it on the front);

It'll take a few thousand miles before the engine starts loosening up mate, keep the car stock for as long as you can.....You'll reap the extra noise benefits from any engine mod more if you do

I got mine done and don't regret it at all, it sounds so much louder for all that it is. Plus mines a manual so I had to make it sound less 'dead' lol

Yeah that part number for the grill is 8V5853651PFUQ, that is for a black edition without front parking sensors and without front cruise control sensor.

Nice one, not a bad wee present

Not sure about tfsi, I'll probably get sfa when I retire lol
My retirement present to myself 3 years ago was my A3 Sportback. It seemed only fair to offer the trouble and strife a new car too when her turn came. She has always wanted a convertible (although it's not my cup of tea) and I had an A3 cabrio as a courtesy car 2 years ago which was when the idea of a cabrio for her retirement came into my head. She is absolutely thrilled with it and I must admit it is a lovely car.

The promise of the cabrio also had a collateral benefit for me. Ordinarily I would not contemplate spending circa £30K on a car, my budget has always been around the low £20K level. However, when I was first attracted to the new B9 A4 Avant I was naturally put off by the price point, but then I realised how much I was prepared to spend on my wife's car and that enabled me to get comfortable with spending a similar amount on myself. And so in September I took delivery of the A4. It's been an expensive year...

The new 1.5 engine is beautiful, I know a lot of you are waiting for one! Any questions? I'd be happy to try and answer!
