S3 8p Dipstick Question...

Hi,

Can someone let me know, is the dipstick meant to have two little rubber o rings, one at the top around the neck and one down towards the bottom? Or is it just one at the top?

It's supposed to just have one rubber ring at the top, post 20 on the following thread shows what it should look like.

It's also a good read as the old orange dipstick is prone to failure which is why Audi brought out a revised yellow one that doesn't crack/break PN: 06F 115 611F. ECS do a nice steel one however that is £50 without postage..

I got the new oem of from tps for less than £10 if you have one near you
