Hi guys hopefully I'm posting correctly I've never been a member of a forum.

I have a strange problem
A4 B7 TFSI BUL engine code
Just been rebuilt from crank up and refitted. (I will not use this mechanic again)

OK problem.

Knock sensor low voltage on obdeleven app doesn't show up on obd torque app

Got test pipe with spacer for rear sensor and stainless out to the std dtm back boxes brand new from audi (they were fitted after an accident)

New n75 valve
New pcv valve

Original MAP sensor

After getting the exhaust fitted drove straight to my remapper who said the car had been mapped already. And with a 2 min check on vcds he could see that the timing has been pulling/retarding 30°

So.....maybe this is what threw the cam chain tensioner off in the first place ( detonation before cylinder reache's the top??)

Now I've read so many posts on this none of which I can find to have the problem I have.

2.25v @ G61 knock sensor.....BUL has only one knock sensor connected to pins 39 + 54 on harness A on ecu.....am I correct?

Now my problem is have I got a bad connection in my ecu or a bad bit of coding?
I have checked the voltage at the block coming from the wiring loom and at the knock sensor terminal itself both exactly the same reading.
So I have a bad harness (eg a bad cable from ecu out to 1st available measuring point)
Or the ecu is only outputting 2.25 volts (resistor or whatever it may be called burnt out)
I know there's definitely a problem as when the test pipe was on when it threw the alarm for know sensor the exhaust was so loud I took it off and put it back to standard.

So is there anyone that knows a measuring block for vcds of G61 output voltage? So I can check before sending off the ecu for repair?
Or should I be looking more into the wiring?

Remember
the cam chain tensioner went before
I'm getting 20mpg
The noise is audible big time with S/S exhaust.
When my mapper told me it was advancing the timing I went to tps for a new one and the original was just lying in the engine bay tucked behind the dipstick...........

This A4 B7 avant now stands me 12k in a year I could be driving an S4 for this money

Muchos grassyass in advance guys
