Hi guys,
Just installed the remus catback exhaust on my A3 and very happy with the outcome! However, there is a slight hiccup. I feel like my tips are hanging too low. Here are some pictures for reference:
My first reaction was that it may be due to the longer extensions from the REMUS muffler that go downward to the muffler from exhaust rubbers...
My local REMUS rep said that maybe the exhaust hangers may have been too stretched out at the time of removing them, causing the new muffler to hang lower than the OEM one (the exhaust hangers in the picture are the OEM ones)
...in this case I would try to look for shorter exhaust hangers to close the distance of the tips to my bumper...or maybe use that youtube "hose clamp" solution to shorten the OEM hangers by millimeters (is it dangerous?)
If not, ya'll are more than welcomed to tell me to calm myself and leave it as is.
It doesn't scrape with anything and sounds great!
Thanks in advance!
