We're loving the S4 so much that we have a fully loaded Avant landing on Thursday :) Another cracking deal from Fraser Burdett at Kings Lynn Audi.

ill post some more photos this next week once she lands, but I've got to admit that the saloon has been a fantastic car, but I'm really looking forward to the Avant

The saloon is going back and the avant is replacing it?
That's a nice spec! The avants always look better ;)

That red and black combo is sweet!

yes, we currently have an S4 saloon thats heading back to Audi, well then have this Avant until the RS3 Saloon lands in November (BW42 at present)

Do you think they'll notice if you handed back a black S4 avant instead of a red one

Tough choice in colours, prefer the alloys on the blue one, but I HATE cleaning them, they are a complete PITA. There's just something about the red/black combo I love.

@ABYSS thanks for the opportunity to try the S4 with the tuning box fitted. Compared with S4's I have driven with similar mileage the throttle response is much sharper and you can tell there is more power during acceleration. What is pleasing to note is the fact that the power delivery remains linear much like the standard car and does not give you a kick in the back as would an RS4 under similar driving conditions. With the box fitted it is definitely a Jekyll and Hyde motor, docile at one minute then the power is unleashed!

Did you have the tuning box and pedal box? Or just the tuning box?

Just kidding, I agree with the red one. I had a red B5 and I was lucky to have bought a clean and well maintained car from an old couple and it looked mint every time I washed and polished it. Will share a pic shortly. Have to go back yeaaars on my google photos to find one.

The only problem with that particular A4, for me anyway, was the fact I (wrongly) spec'ed a 140bhp diesel engine when I bought it new
Hated it. Would NEVER have another diesel, ever lol

Tell me about diesel. I have another B7 that I bought for my wife last year and I think I would've been better off buying her a petrol.

Unfortunately, the only pic of my B5 (1.6 Petrol). Others on Dropbox, too much of an effort to download and then upload

It is such a shame I had to sell it for £250. It all started with wiper motor, changed two in a matter of six months, the second one resulting in a leakage and delaying the wiring resulting in ECU damage on to two starter motors in a span on 8 months. In the end, it was costing me nearly £1k to fix all the issues and car wasn't worth it even after all that. I bought it in 2007 when it had 52k on the clock and got rid of it in 2014 while it had 100k on the clock. Nothing for the age.

box only, the pedalbox was taken off a few days ago but id left the box on to let Rog have a blast :)

I've not been out in it yet but did have Matrix on the A7 BITDI 320ps and they're frikking awesome. The LEDS are superb, but Matrix are worth the extra IMO
