Hi everyone,
Have been checking out this forum and your Sister site 'AudiSport.
I have two kids in the family,
A3 2.0TDI Cabriolet '09 and an A3 1.9TDI Sportsback '08.
Main servicing is carried out by the dealer for vehicle history purposes and lesser job list items I attempt myself after research on the net before hand.
I am looking into the possibility of purchasing a VAG-CDS or similar unit very soon. But I need to do more digging on the scope and models first, and very importantly, UK supported.
I have owned Audi's for seventeen years now.
I have attempted to get hold of an 'Avantissimo, in my opinion, a beautifully built performance model with the use of aluminium extensively in the body and suspension mounted on an ASF. This was new in 2001.
My introduction into the VAG scene. I learnt to drive and passed my Driver Test back in 1966 in a VW Beetle (RHW 909), funny how I never forgot that reg. Drove the Beetle to the Wolfsburg factory were they fully stripped the car down to the bare shell and resprayed and re-assembled it free of charge and converted the car to 12v from 6v. They couldn't believe that the car had been driven all that way to complain about the paintwork!
My first Audi was with the then new 100/A6 2.0 Aspirated Avant, build quality superb, clocked up 99,000 trouble free miles.
Next bought the A4 1.8 Aspirated Avant.
Then the A3 1.9TDI Sportsback '08, a workhorse.
Recently added an A3 2.0 Auto Cabriolet '09 (she indoors who must be obeyed).
Next one may be the Allroad or SQ3.
So, there you have my history, the years before my fist Audi were filled with Company cars. Nothing to say about those.
Safe motoring and happy times to you all.

Welcome to audi-sport.net. Any pics of your cars? Hope you enjoy the forum :)
