Hi All,

My First post - Was going to pick up my new A5 Coupe S Line this Thursday. Ended up going through the finance paperworks and Audi has messed up my order getting me a A5 Coupe Sport. Couldn't believe it. Anyway going to factory order now and expecting in 3 months time.....

My Spec:

Audi A5 Coupe S Line 2.0 TFSI 190 S Tronic
Daytona Grey
Flat Bottom Steering Wheel

Trying to see if they can throw in anything for me - like maintenance pack. Also debating whether to add more options like Privacy Glass, 19 inch alloys, would love the Virtual Cockpit but can't justify the cost for the tech pack.

Do you reckon I can haggle more for the delay?

So they ordered you a Sport rather than S-line?!?

I'd add privacy glass. 19s only if you prefer them to the 18s (I did !!)

The Tech Pack and VC is a nice to have but I don't think I notice it not being on my car if that makes sense?

I'd certainly expect them to put me in a loan car for the duration or guarantee my PX price despite the later date.

Other than that, perhaps they can throw in a discount on the alloys or glass to offset the disappointment but be careful not to be too "greedy" or they may play hard ball.

Correct! The order form was S Line - but when I saw the finance docs was Sport - even went to check it. Somewhere got messed up.

Yes, privacy glass is really appealing to me and the 19's. Going to give a call tomorrow to get them added on.

Good shout with the guarantee PX!

Update - So this morning got a call from Audi and they are going to loan this A5 Sport Coupe for 3 months and wait till my S Line with my specs arrives. Think that's quite a good offer from them.

Agreed. That's a good offer as they will then take quite a hit on the car selling it as a nearly new rather than brand new.

Are you happy with that offer as "compensation"?

I'm happy with it. Having 2 new A5's this year. Can't really complain about that.
