Facelift FL Orders Open Imminent

You won't have one until early 18, so if you're thinking that then get an A45 and hope to not be disappointed when the Audi comes along :)

£46k starting price on Sportback and £47k on Saloon.
Are UK prices now confirmed then?

Spain prices told to press:
Sportback: 63400€
Sedan: 65300€

Approx £55k at current exchange rates!

Audi strangely silent on UK prices!

Thanks for the reply.... the S3 is also an option and it's cheaper, but the delivery time is 4 month's. a45 has good discounts now that is in the end of it's life.

I'd recommend driving an S3, ask for an extended drive to get in tune with it. It doesn't make a noise like the RS, but if you remove the centre silencer like me (£70 job) it transforms it.

I've never been a fan of Mercedes, so I will always back Audi in this situation haha.

Sales manager at my dealer said they seem to be kicking it back, just like the TT has had its moment and is now forgotten about. He seems to think the RS5 will take priority and they won't want to take the attention away from that by releasing the RS3 so soon after.

Thanks, any idea of the european prices and options? I has been delayed from may and now it's taking too long and maybe I pick a stock A45.

Depends on your country.

No info when it comes to holland, but it should be around the € 80k mark, to a € 100k for a full opted rs3 sedan.

I think your sales manager is guessing just like the rest of us!

No chance. Those with a decent spec that would have come in at circa £48k and which have done average mileage (say 20k miles over the two years) are up for about £38k. They won't necessarily get that either. I'd bank on the new one being similar, so £10-12k over two years. Certainly not £3k.
Just searching used rs3's and there's a 2 year old one up for 2/3k more than it cost brand new!

Couple of things. Firstly, that's trade and no where near what you'd get trading in or selling privately. Secondly, Shaks Cars are notoriously overpriced. I mean, massively overpriced and they'll never get that unless some mug walks in. Also beware that they apparently clock their cars (an owner over on VWROC confirmed this!). Finally, there's plenty of better specced and cheaper cars to go for.

Hey, I hope you prove me wrong. As an existing owner I want residuals to be super strong. But I maintain a decently specced, average mileage car will cost you £10k over two years.

Yeah I've noticed that Shaks cars are often hilariously overpriced. Just thought I've have a quick look, there's still a fair chunk over 40k though.

Are you waiting for the FL or looking for a pre FL? Pre FL will probably save you £10k. It's mostly the same inside apart from the virtual dash, better from the rear without those hideous reflectors. The front is debatable...I can't quite make my mind up. FL will have a slightly faster engine but doesn't seem quite as raucous or loud.

I was waiting for a FL but I've worked out even with a 5k deposit I'm looking at roughly £600 a month which I don't want, a pre won't be far off that due to lower residule. I have actually put a deposit down on another car but having problems at the moment.

Try Oracle. You can get a 16 plate with plenty of toys from a dealer for £38k with a bit of haggling I reckon. That should get you down to £500 I would have thought?

Definitely give Oracle a go, I have been speaking with Matt Arundale give him a call on 07480 070250. He has been extremely helpful and will 100% beat dealer finance, h e will also look after you.

Had a offer on the S3 from them the other day, £1500 more than Audi.

Bought mine Dec 15 done 38k miles have been offered £34k which I thought was good for mileage..waiting for saloon to trade in this year..been and is a great car

When I helped my mother get her A3 the dealer told me they will get the demo RS3 in soon so I should swing by and test it. He couldn't really go into what he meant by soon though, could be 2 months I guess.

How much did you buy it for?

I think that's a decent offer for nigh on 40k miles.

Hope with 5k down it may be less than 600 a month on a new RS3....or that's what I'm hoping. Don't really want to pay more than 550 in all honesty with 5k down.

All I've thought about is what car I'm getting next given the R is going back in March. Theres nowt that interests me other than the Audi. Either that or the new A45 when it comes out, but that's 2019 I believe?

Went for a test drive in the 434d x drive. Nice. Felt quick with all that torque but no noise and by boring not being able to hoon it to 7k rpm

I reckon you might be struggling to get it to that amount. It seems that there's going to be a significant hike in price. Add in at least £5k for options and you're looking at a £50k car...ludicrous really.

Damn! First time ever then il be in a situation where I don't know what to do re car situation.

I think il remain delusional and believe it will start from 42k then il have a small chance of getting one. 45k then I'm scuppered! Failing that, A45 AMG it is and will have to be.
