I'm curious about this, my order has gone to 70 overnight, could I get mine delivered next week?
I just thought it would be a waste of tax to deliver it on 29th or 30th of the month, but if it's a lease car it doesn't really matter?
It's odd .. S4 avant ordered 4 days before you, and my build starts July 17.. Just been told can't change ( I wanted to swap colour) - it's now locked : take it or lose the build slot.
9:15 in the morning ... I collect the car, signed the papers today and resisted the urge to see it until tomorrow.
Got called today to say Audi rejected my finance. Pants filled. Turns out it was my signature wasn't quite the same as my driving licence one lol handed passport in and all sorted collected at five and very happy
That may explain why they asked me this morning if my signature matched my card, before I signed, I wonder if they have all been alerted to something?

Wow that is a big difference!
What colour were you looking to change from/to?
Will see what happens to my build date over the coming weeks, gives me more time to consider changes but that's not necessarily a good thing!!
Stage 23 now. Wonder how long it will be until I get it.

I was hoping to change from Navarra blue to Daytona grey (both with magma red interior)... I wasn't sure about the combo, but a load of searching and pictures online have reassured me ... wanted to add storage pack too , though that was minor . No other changes as I ticked all the boxes anyhow

I've gone Daytona with Magma red interior, I'm sure the Navarra Magma combo will look great and as others have said..the Superman look : )
Have you gone for Sports Diff, as I've heard that may delay build so wondered if that's why mine is delayed that long?
I keep toying with panroof but after having on my last 2 cars I don't really use it and get annoyed with the constant rattle/squeaks etc so didn't tick the box!
I saw a brand new s5 sportback in the handover bay yesterday and a new out of prep sq5 both in navara stick with navara stunning colour
I didnt opt for sports diff, most other options yes.... I'm not one for high speed cornering or pushing it ... like the power for overtaking / accelerating on motorway etc, and the noise .. but otherwise I'm a cruiser ...

Yeah likewise really but coming from the S3 I hope the diff and adjustable dampners will ensure it's just as good round the twistys

Yes I had one for the day and it felt very planted and stuck to the road well, much more confidence inspiring than the S3, with the sports diff it should elevate the handling even more.
Yea I didn't get it was too much coin for what is to be essentially the family wagon but even so I'm loving being away from the haldex of the RS3. Haldex is good but I like the fixed 4wd feel better
Status 30. Quality control. Seems to have gone from order received to QC in a few days. How long normally from now do we think ? Proper excited for it to arrive.

My build week was scheduled to start this week, but they started it middle of last week instead and today the tracker updated to say it's on its way!

It spent 3 days or so in Q/A according to tracker, but he date on the status 30 update looks a bit odd.
The tracker definately lags behind the API page, I guess they just update on different schedules (both seem to be at least 24 hours behind "reality" in that email updates will arrive a day ahead of the tracker changing).
I was originally scheduled to take delivery at end of month, so looks like it might even be slightly early depending on boats etc. For reference, it's a fairly standard 4-door 2.0l 190 auto S-Line without VC/sunroof so not sure if that makes it "easier" to build.
I don't know if they've ramped up production to try to get these all in and registered before the new reg start to bump up the figures for the year, but after a lot of hanging around at the start it's progressing quite quickly now.

According to the tracker our car has been at stage 30 since the 13th June 2017 - It says stage 38 but with no date. Its been stuck here for 2 weeks.

Rather worryingly, the description on my car has changed overnight to "Configuration: A4 Saloon Black Edition 2.0 TDI"
I didn't order a Black Edition Wheel size is still listed as 18", mirrors are body coloured and trim is still aluminium, so it looks like this might just be a typo...although why it's suddenly changed is a mystery. Maybe this indicates that it's just moved on to the next stage somewhere and somebody picked the wrong model when checking it in ?
Anyone seen this sort of thing happen before ? Should I be worried ? Although to be honest I could live with the black trims etc. as long as it's free so worry is probably the wrong word.
