Having owned a series of fast and highly modded cars, I was looking for something quick and yet practical so I thought this fits the bill nicely!

Place a deposit on this beast today 2016 Mythos Black Metallic. I'm very excited and can't wait till next week to pick up!

Already I'm researching on mods, yikes! Can't help buy to satisfy my itch!

Does anyone know what width and offset 20" wheels would fit without any issues to the standard setup?

TIA!

Ps: I can't seem to attach the pic from my phone saying it's too large! How can I attach it without having to reduce the size??

You can use a picture hosting site (like Photobucket) then attach using the "Direct" link by clicking on the picture icon above the dialogue box ^ and pasting the direct link URL.

The RS3 easily mods up to 450/450 hp/torque with very few changes. Standard car is mental, modded one is proper nuts.

TX.

Decat, intercooler + map gets 450/450. Not expensive at all.

Although it seems that the "new" engine can't deliver more than the "old" one, time will tell? Have seen some numbers on tunes already and they were similar old vs new. That should mean around 430-440 with flashed ecu.

Would a tuning box alone do it? (so I can remove for warrantee purposes) or would it need IC, decat and proper tune for around 450hp? I assume this would no doubt invalidate the warrantee??

New engine (400ps) is quite a bit different to the old engine (367ps), there's a bigger turbo for one. The new engine has twin injection, an aluminium block and a very different exhaust manifold. Probably quite a bit more too.

If you search up Gt-innovation on facebook and go back to a post from 11th June, you will see a TTRS with filter and map do 525ps.

Yeah - but read how they did it not oem for shure - Gt-innovationLuc Ophelders 100 oktan - 1.7 overboost 1.6 haltedruck - Pipercross Luftfilter and stage 2 or stage3? You can`t really say its oem and only airfilter changed - were you are not using pumpgas which is only 98 for example in my country and also overboosted.

I know that somebody here also tested these pre RS3 with result of something around 440-450hp in engine with octanebooster and don`t remember which stage (1 or 2?) map he had but this GT-Innovation has also from stage1 to stage3 so numbers looked better at first but in the end as expected little better or same?

The RS3 pre facelift has a 367ps engine, this tunes to 440-450hp as you say.
The RS3 post facelift has a 400ps engine, this is likely to tune to far more than 440-450hp.

The engine has changed as has the turbo, it is now bigger. TTE in Germany have a hybrid solution for this trubo now available called the TTE625.

For those TTRS figures Gt-innovation, it looks to be 3 different tuning stages using standard tune/ tune with air filter (Stage2) and then tune with air filter and high octane fuel (Stage 3)

Regardless, we will find out more soon when more tuners start playing with the cars. I would think 500hp will be easily attainable

Yes, future will tell how it goes?

There are usually big expectations on new models but for going from proved and tested real 412 or was it 415 hk in the new engine to 500 hk you need more than a simple airfilter which is producing approx 2 hp, it speaks for it self.

TTE625 is probably a kit of hw?

GT-innovation seems to want high octane and that makes it more difficult but an easy way to create high figueres.

TTE 625 is just a hybrid turbo produced by TTE (The Turbo Engineers)

It's a bolt on solution. With this turbo and a downpipe, a TTRS made 604hp. It's still early days too so this number is bound to rise when further tuning/hardware modifications are done.

If you are on facebook, like the turbo engineers page and you will see all their updates. The post regarding the TTE625 is posted 12th June if you want to scroll back to check.
