Just wondering when you have taken delivery of your S5 has anyone been offered a Service / Maintenance package. I believe Audi offer a monthly one. Interesting to know what people have been quoted?

I'm due to pick my S5 up In the next couple of weeks. It's at Emden at the moment.

I was quoted something like £1500 for a service only plan (no brakes, tyres etc) which even the sales guy said wasn't worth it.

I think all they are doing is aggregating the projected future service costs into one figure at their standard rates, and offering it in a monthly figure. there was no incentive to me to buy it.

It's a shame they don't offer the BMW style option for 3 years at circa 400 quid, we paid £699 for 5 years servicing on the wife's Range Rover Sport which was well worth it, I can't see Audi get much take up on their plans at those rates, but then they don't care because they know 99% of their customers will have their cars serviced within their dealer network for at least the first 3 years for warranty purposes.

I've been reading in the A4 thread and people are saying they getting quoted £10/£12 month.

I don't think this is on 'S' cars, a few of those comments are from people with A3's and A4's with 1.4 litre engines, and some over 2 years instead of 3. They'll have single panel air filters, fewer spark plugs, no Quattro diff oil, lower spec oils etc etc. You need an apples for apples quote, my numbers above are for a B9 S5 Sportback.

More than happy to hear if I've been misinformed and there are cheaper options out there, I'll be all over it lol!

I went for audi complete - service maintenance and tyres. 3yrs @10,000 miles per year £38 per month.

My S4 service maintenance and tyre plan was £18.90 a month for the 2 year period

intresting.... there doesn't seem to be standard pricing. I've always had a BMW before and they were always straightforward £699 and you covered for 3 years service package. This S5 is going to be my first Audi hope I don't regret it as it looks a lovely car.

Wow, my dealer was massively over priced then!

Might have a ring around myself now, does anyone know if there is a time limit after taking delivery of a new car to taking out one of these plans?

From chatting with the dealer the price of it fluctuates a lot during the year

At £33 pm that equates to just shy of £400. What do you get for £33. Is that just servicing! does that include brakes etc. Is it ongoing or is it fixed for a set number of years?

If you were to take the S5 for a service how much would it cost without a plan?

Complete covers all servicing, maintenance like brakes, wipers, fluid top up, brake fluid and first MOT plus tyres. Had it on the S3 and S4 before that and has always been worth while.
