This Audi A3 was involved is a very serious accident involving multiple vehicles, being hit from the rear with force and pushed in to the car in front, sustaining both front and rear end damage. Stolen and Recovered 2010 Audi S5 Sportback!

An interesting one for VAG Car Coding today and a warning to all who have cars equipped with keyless entry!

The owner of this vehicle went to sleep last night with the car on his drive but woke up to find it gone this morning but… there was a tacker fitted and the car was found within a few hours. This S5 was stolen without the keys being taken / used, and with zero damage to any locks or windows.

Now, the scum that took it managed to code two totally new keys in seconds and remove the owners originals from the vehicles IMMO. All the owner could do was open the drivers door with his blade key. Once SOCO were done taking fingerprints it was time for VAG Car Coding to get to work! We removed the two “SCUM” keys and then recoded the owners originals, and gave the car a full diagnostic protocol. We then activated Alarm beep on lock and unlock so that the owner can be sure that his car is 100% secure. Advise was given about OBD Port protection also.

Finally had some time to have another session in our TT test vehicle today, but the planned OEM Reversing Camera retrofit is on hold until next month :(

This session saw the following testing:

•Visual Confirmation of comfort closing activated
•3rd / centre brake light activated as Daylight Running Light at 60% brightness
•Lap Timer activated within Virtual Cockpit
•G-Meter activated within Virtual Cockpit
•Daylight Running Light control added to Exterior Lighting Control Menu
•Seatbelt Warning Disabled
•Key Ignition Warning Disabled
•Daylight Running Lights brightness increased to 100% in switch position 0
•Daylight Running Lights brightness increased to 100% while Side Lights active
•Daylight Running Lights brightness increased to 100% with Dipped Beams active
•Daylight Running Lights Coming Home and Leaving Home brightness increased to 100%
•Automatic Closing of all windows on detection of rain whilst vehicle is locked

Previous Testing saw:

•Audi MMI4G v2 Video in Motion Activated
•Audi MMI4G v2 Menu Usage Speed Restrictions Removed

2017 Audi TT 8S 2.0TFSI Coupe Visual Comfort Closing!

A fast demo of Visual Comfort Closing.

From the factory your Audi vehicle should be equipped with what Audi calls “remote comfort closing”. In short this feature allows you to close all your cars windows by pressing and holding the remote keys lock button. When held, your vehicle will flash its turning signals once and then your windows will close… but how to you know if they are 100% closed? By walking around your vehicle or bending down and twisting around to see through the glass from a distance!

VAG Car Coding can enable an additional turn signal flash which will only flash when all your windows are 100% closed

This feature can also be activated on SEAT, VW and Skoda vehicles. The Audi TT in this video also has Acoustic Alarm Beep on Lock and Unlock activated.

2013 Audi A3 8V 2.0TDI Audi Sound System Coding!

The owner of this vehicle was not happy with the standard Audi supplied “Basic” sound system and after completing a little “Google-Fu” found that it was possible to add both an Audi Sound System (*** - PR9VD) Subwoofer and Centre Speaker by way of an upgrade. Retrofitting these speakers is a pretty simple job however activating the internal amplifier outputs and adding the Subwoofer control to the Audi MMI system is not something many people or indeed companies can do.

The owner of this vehicle reached out to VAG Car Coding in order to have us complete his installation and today drove down from Coventry to London for us to complete the works, a 200+ miles journey!

Today saw fellow Audi-Sport.net forum member @Raul_sbd pop over to our Manchester base with his Audi A3 for an Automatic Lights and Wipers OEM Retrofit using genuine Audi parts. Don’t see many Scuba Blue A3’s these days, very nice!

•All needed Adaptation and Codings completed
•Coming Home Lights activated
•Leaving Home Light activated

2016 Audi RS3 8V Magnetic Ride Recalibration!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The owner of this lovely Audi RS3 stopped by VAG Tuner Live 2017 as he knew VAG Car Coding would be in attendance. The works completed to this vehicle are an on-going project and are currently in testing however I can today disclose the following:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The owner of this vehicle was never happy with the stock suspension setup and in a bid to improve the drivability of the vehicle opted to install H&R lowering springs. While fitting these made a difference the owner was not overly impressed and also felt that there was no real difference when selecting different drive select modes, so much so that he was thinking of changing the springs to a different brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After contacting VAG Car Coding we suggested a MagRide recalibration with a view to testing over a period of time, and revisiting the process after some miles had been added to the car.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yesterday saw the calibration take place. We requested that the owner drive home and give us some feedback later that night after a good drive. VAG Car Coding is happy to report that the owner has been blown away by the difference!

Due to the new settings we also completed an LED Headlight recalibration :)

The MMI / Sound System, within the vehicle was not working so the owner replaced the unit. Although sound was restored it kept cutting out, until VAG Car Coding connected to the car and recoded the new unit to the vehicle!

Audi RS3 8V Virtual Cockpit Retrofit!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Well it seems like that cat is out of the bag… VAG Car Coding has retrofitted a 2017 Virtual Cockpit to a Pre-Facelift Audi RS3 8V, and no ordinary RS3 at that!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We first did this in a test car last year but back then the process included hacking via 3rd party tools and required the services of Audi for Key and IMMO coding. This time around VAG Car Coding had all the tools to complete the retrofit, and together with Aoon and his monster car we managed to get everything sorted. It must be said that VAG car Coding did exactly that, the coding works. Much respect to Aoon for actually ripping his dashboard out and completing a true “factory” style retrofit of the hardware. Let it be known that this man does not mess about! Removing the dash is not part of the process but Aoon is a true perfectionist!
