How'd you clean your engine bay?

Found Gunk engine degreaser is pretty good on the tough dirt. Got some of their wipes recently but not tried them yet.

I tend to use gtechniq C2 after I've gave the car a coating. Again though a sponge and brushes with soapy water to get the most then dry it and use a quick detailer. Like @BlueBadger said de-greaser for the harder to shift places.

Supermarket wet wipes. keep them in the boot and every few weeks keep on top of it. they work well.

All I do is wipe over the obvious bits at the top when I am drying round the bonnet. Life's too short for anything else.

Astonish degreaser and a few different types of brushes.
Dont really like to spray anything on the plastics as i find they always attract dust.

In the past WD40 works a treat as well. I use to cover my motor bikes in it all the time and was great.

i used to clean my R32 engine bay with Autoglym engine degreaser and a hose pipe. Just kept the engine running and let it warm up first, neve rhad any issues whatsoever. I tried the autogym plastic and engine spray but aerospace is so easy, basically once its cleaned spray it all over close the bonnet leaving it on. wake up and in the morning its all dried and shiny, Amazing stuff. I only really cleaned the engine bay once a year.

Best thing is just use open ended hose, not a pressure washer so the water isnt forced into places it shouldnt be.
