Looking to change from the S3 to the RS3

As the prices are now confirmed for the new RS3,I've got my dealer looking at monthly payments to change
£44300 -sportback
£45250- saloon

You'll be in a lot of negative equity with your current car though

Yeah mate, my thoughts are around September for orders to open, press release in the UK in July.... It's a £50k car,saloon even more, my thoughts before l opted out where £50k car £10k down finance £40k lol wtf no way am l going to finance that amount on a car....eureka moment lol but that's just me....good on folks who will do, very happy in my voodoo skin lol

I'll have a look when it's on the configurator but will probably just baulk and say it's too expensive........secretly I do want one.

Revo the S3 then wait for the all new generation 2019 RS3 ? Your S3 is a stunner mate.

I’m with you there Jassy my first house was 43k so makes me think of it as a second mortgage. I put a largish deposit down on my car which has mostly depreciated even with man maths combining car and motor bike funds I couldn’t make those numbers add up.

Whatever I do to my S3 Rob,I still couldn't make it sound like the RS

This is the biggest point for anyone looking at the RS3 - the sound. No matter what you do, the sound from an S3 can never sound anything more than the 4 pot Turbo it is. The S3 is a stunning car, and I would be very happy with one, but then you hear an RS3 and think what could of been.

I suppose it is easy to say this, but money answers most things in life! Although it would be nice to have the ability to choose if money wasn't a barrier.

I initially thought the saloon, but I am now thinking it has to be traditional Audi style Sportback. Would love to see an RS3 Sportback in VooDoo!

The saloon is less than my S3 configuration costs...

Of course adding the same stuff will probably take it over 50k.

Right now I am thinking 6 months and ill order an RS3... Have to do it before my mileage is too much! Lol

l'll have my Voodoo S3 over any new RS3....lol....Man maths don't do them lol,l could have easily afforded a RS3 this time around so could most of us,how awesome they do sound love the car,but l think its relevance and importance is blown out of proportion on this forum,yeah its the top model of the A3 range,but its not the be all and end of motoring Nirvana....like some make out,its all down personal preference and your own way of life,l was not willing to fork extra on insurance and fuel costs and most of all worrying about the car getting damaged or stolen...A voodoo blue is S3 is bad enough.

Besides all of my ********.....its been posted to DEATH on here,and this thread belongs on the RS3 8V Forum @Tristan2 You'll get a far better on AUDIENCE on there mate

Imho £4-6k of options are needed. The PFL was a very plain car without spending some money + the original dealer cars don't sell as they were bum basic.

It wasn't that long ago you was raving about the RS3 and the TT RS, how things change lol
 
I want a saloon in Viper green, saying that I would probably swerve off and order a nardo grey :)

My first house was £4,850. My god I spent far more than that on a couple of options on my A3. Looked at like that, crikey ....

By the way it was 1972 .........

Yip especially the ttrs but as l have said previously on a few occasions, my outlook on the new rs3 has changed its not the car for me, no discount, l will never use that amount of power in a daily driving car, it's too expensive with the options l required exclusive paint etc, time moves on almost a year since was revealed mate

Yeah mate that's the plan a Revo map,then a few classy superficial changes alloys a couple of wee carbon Aero enhancements....lol...the Fooker is still 3 months away...lol
ordered nearly a month ago....RS3 's wont be here until November
