Detailing, first time visit

After the 1600 mile roadtrip thought I'd book my girl in with a local recommended detailer.

First time I've paid a visit to one and looking forward to the results.... booked a stage 1 correction and GTechniq coating to be applied....

post some pics up when hes done with it. gtechniq is awesome stuff

Just had mine done, definitely worth it. I'll be making a post soon :welcoming:

What's the going rate for a stage 1 and gtechniq coating? Looking at getting mine done when I eventually get my bonus paid.

I paid £650, the CS Black alone (Crystal Serum topped with EXO) was £300.

Mine was £450. You could get a new car detail for around £350 though. If you're local to Cheshire I can get you in touch with my detailer.

So impressed with results, pic don't do it justice....

Rained today and it just fell off the car....

Can't wait to see her shine in full sun

Can't beat a pro detail. Expensive but always well worth it IMHO.

I've been quoted £700+ for stage one and gtechniq!!! Am I being ripped off? Only have very light swirls

Car is looking good by the way!

I paid £650 and my car had covered 900 miles, still within the mileage for a new car prep. Usually if they're over that the cost will be a bit more.

what are you lot saying on the gtech coatings? my detailer just did c1+c2 on his own m135i and rates it but crystal serum seems more durable?

I went with CS Black (Crystal Serum topped with EXO V3) it's only just looking a bit dirty now and it hasn't been touched for about 3 weeks, we had near on a week of solid rain and obviously the way it runs off means the car stays cleaner longer.

So then..... first wash since she was detailed.

Snow foam and water literally fell off.

All cleaned and dried and Sod's law, started to rain, but wow, awesome beading.
