Did a search and can't find anything.
I'm going to Italy soon and I'll be using the auto cruise as I did with my golf.
The only question I have is, which steering setting is best for an 80-90mph motorway cruise?

I drive down to Italy from the UK quite a bit in my A3. I find Dynamic the best as i dont need light steering when going fast. The light steering when going at 80mph can feel a bit wobbly, especially if you go over a hump or bump and makes you accidentally wobble a bit. Hope that makes sense! ACC is something i would love to have. I just have normal cruise and dream of just sitting there with the car doing all the work!!

Which route are you taking?where in Italy are you heading? :welcoming:

I had an idea that the comfort setting would be less jiggly but it seems it's the opposite so I'd best set up the personal setting to give it auto on everything except steering and change that to dynamic.

I'm heading home: the mountains near Parma. Wales-Tunnel-France-Aosta-Parma.

Interesting route. Im close to you in Bologna for most of the year. I went back to the UK over xmas via the Frejus tunnel. Was good fun and so beautiful. I came back via Basel,Switzerland, then down to Como & Milan. I preferred this route. It was a lot cheaper on fuel too and the Swiss road tax lasts for a year whereas the Month Blanc & Frejus Tunnels are 40euros each way!

My A3 doesnt have many Audi Drive Select options as it is just a 1.6tdi so if you can change suspension etc.... then maybe comfort steering is best. I do prefer easy/light steering and dynamic engine normally but on the long run it feels better with more direct steering.

My s3 is standard so I don't have suspension adjustments.
What are other S3 owners recommending as regards steering? Comfort, Auto or Dynamic?

I always avoid Switzerland- border queues (4 times for every trip remember) and OTT speeding enforcement are a pain. Also Mont Blanc Tunnel offer a carnet of 10 single trips which reduce the cost by 50%.
