I've replaced my AWE S-Flow carbon intake with a set of Roc-Euro intakes.
Now I can hear the twin turbos spool up, and it sounds how it should of come from the factory!:yahoo:

Anyone interested in buying a AWE S-Flow intake for an S6/7?

Jeepers, that's tight... :D
What about heat once the bonnet is closed? Is there a heatsield or do you depend on the cold air from the OEM feed?

Just picked up a used AWE CF intake. 2 into 1 silicone hose is about an inch short. Did you have any issues with fitment?

Did you make a video on youtube? I recognise the intakes. good job!

Hi Mark,

No issues with the fitment of the AWE unit. Pretty much plug and play. Hardest part was getting the OEM hoses off the end of the turbo units.

Apologies for the delayed reply!:racer:

Hi RAF_S7, nice work.
I want to upgrade just the corrugated hoses to silicone and keep the original airbox. I just find complete kits with performance air filter. Did You by chance take note of the dimension from the short connecting silicone hoses from Your kit?
Thank You

my S7 Black edition arrives in September and I will be doing something similar. They look good but I don't like the step change in pipe size where it connects to the standard pipework. I am on the search for the same setup but with a tapered step or I may make something myself. wont be difficult.

I know what you mean, but there are very few options on the market as far as aftermarket air intakes go.
  • You can change the filter itself, and leave the airbox standard (i.e. K&N, Pipercross etc.)
  • You can swap to the RS7 airbox, which is pretty much plug and play, but has additional air intake holes on the top of the filter box (or you could just drill some holes yourself..)
  • There is the AWE Carbon intake and performance filter (Had that, didn't do anything for the sound - have one for sale)
  • The Roc-Euros which I now have installed (imported from USA)
It really depends what you are looking for.....

going for a very similar setup as you but prob DIY. Buy some 76mm tube (45 and 90 deg bends) a couple of filters and reducer silicone hoses
