What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

nope didn't drive on them carl, only fitted on the driveway.
two were twisted so badly the refurb guys couldn't get them straight, another one had been welded so many times and with new cracks hidden under paint it was a joke, and the forth had cracks across two spokes aswell....total bin job.

its amazing really what paint hides, not until you strip them back that you find whats really been done...I expect he saw me coming, should have taken max with me...lol
its done now and I've overcome the problem ....kinda worked out better in a bizarre way aswell.

Put a fence panel on the roof. Unfortunately the slats were facing the wrong way to noticeably improve down force but hey ho. Functional Avant time.....

been out today and got another deal and secured 2 more 19" rims identical to the set of 4 I have fitted now, both in vgc one with a good tyre one worn , anyway's , that's my spare wheel sorted out for the car and also a backup in case I need to replace one if it gets damaged etc, I like it when a plan comes together.
just giving them a home refurb this evening to make them 99% ...
My 18" rials also got collected today so some much needed modding funds have been topped up.

Adjusted the height of the rear exhaust mounts, much better with zero vibration.

Fitted an interior light with the ambient L.E.D's.

Pretty pointless, but it only cost £12, took 3 minutes and makes everything glow a cool red colour.

19" fronts 225/35 (19x8.5J) and rears 235/35 (19x9.5J) staggered alloys to 18" s 215/40 8J all round. Now just to lift her up a little front and back and that part of my work will be done but just to add; I did also a full inspection (some work to do) - de badged the rear, cleaned out the dust in the speedo unit, removed a penny wedged in ash tray section (had to remove the centre and refit) but it works. Fixed brake sensor fault - loose connections. Removed spare wheel and cleaned boot now to fit a temp fix kit instead. And hopefully today replace lid on centre console and rebadge Matt rings on boot

Looks much better I think pal, Fair play!

Is your car a Quattro? Wider wheels on the rear can mess with the diff if they are.

Just getting the wheels aligned @kwikfit if they can fit the hunter gear on it due to it being lowered they said

And yes I know Kwikfit but they are the only ones in my area with Hunter and for £99 I can get them checked and adjusted every three months up to a total of eight times over twentyfour months.

Looks like I'll be tweaking the coilovers every two and a half months then
