My car had an aftermarket tow bar installed when i purchased it, there is a 7 way bypass replay located in the fuel tank side rear boot panel, I've had a short and I'm now trying to find the location of the fuse - here is what i have established so far -
1. The live feed has not been taken to the spare terminal pole on the battery (where i would expect to find it)
2. The live feed has not been taken to the factory tow bar fuse box location (this has never had a fuse in it)
I've tracked the feed from the tow bar to the drivers foot well area but then dives away under the carpeting and I cant see where it terminates - this is a shot in the dark but has anyone got some good ideas where the plank who installed it may have connected the feed?
Or should i cut my losses and run new wiring?
