Hi I have a couple of queries.
Upon changing gears as I push the clutch down and it does a growl like gargling sound. Also I think I can feel the coil spring in the clutch like it's worn or something.
Second question is the steering feedback on the motorway it feels like a constant fight to drive it. It will have dead spots where it will give way then other times be really stiff. I pretty sure the steerings true and tyers are fine. not sure if any of this is normal or I should get on to my dealer. Had the car a week loving it apart from these things.
Oh and also how do I find out exactly what's been done or should be done to this car maintenance wise is it on electric key. ?

Anyone have any knowledge on my questions please. !

What year is your car? The A4 used to have that issue you described with the steering...it feels like its tramlining doesn't it?

It's a 13 plate. Yeah it does mate.

When a dual mass flywheel (DMF) is weakening, you can experience a series of unwelcome mechanical noises - you said it happens when you depress the clutch. Lots of YouTube videos about DMF noises. As said above, the steering situation you describe sounds like "tramlining" i.e. where the wheels follow ruts in the road (typically lorry ruts on inside motorway lanes). Worn bushes and/or ball joints (mainly bushes) can cause this along with oversize, non-standard wheels.

My 2013 had the tramlining issue. I sold the car before I got round to getting it sorted but it seems a new steering rack was needed. If you're out of warranty I would probably try and live with it. There was a VCDS mod which helped a bit

Maybe the car I have then lol. Luckily I have warranty I'm booked in this week for some issues inc these. Thanks for feedback.
