A video clip sent in by one of our customers from Greece!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This video is demonstrating a Miracast Mirroring solution we designed and installed within an Audi A3 8V with Standard Audi MMI4G Media System. The “mirror box” is connected to the Audi Music Interface port, which we retrofitted in place of the factory supplied AUX connector, allowing the customers iPhone 6s to mirror his Waze Navigation App wirelessly to the vehicles display. Video in Motion was then activated in order to be able to continue viewing the display whilst the vehicle was traveling above 3km/h.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The owner of this vehicle was not happy with the standard halogen turn signal bulbs used within the Xenon Headlight Clusters… so VAG Car Coding changed them out for new LED ones

This video shows a 50/50 example of the bulb types, with Halogen on the Left and LED on the Right. As you can see the LED bulb is a little brighter, richer in colour and turns on and off faster with no “fade”.

2003 Audi A3 8P 2.0TFSI Diagnostic and Coding!

Following the purchase of this vehicle the new owner was having a few issues, one of which resulted in a steering rack and control module change. The car was then brought over to VAG Car Coding for Steering Control Module coding… but while performing our diagnostic routine we noticed a few strange things, but nothing we could not sort out!

Dieselgate Alert! 2010 Volkswagen Polo 6R TDI!

Here we have a VW Polo TDI which recently had the “Dieselgate” emissions issue software fix applied, and ever since has been experiencing reduced engine power, increased DPF regenerations and general drivability issues. The owner of this vehicle approached VAG Car Coding in order to see if we could revert the “fix” and return the car to its previous state.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

VAG Car Coding has always believed that its good practice to keep backups of all data and has cloud based storage containing all published VAG Group firmware and software updates going back to 2009!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Before discovering VAG Car Coding and visiting us for a Video in Motion activation and an Android Screen Mirroring solution, the owner of this vehicle had already booked in with another company for a 3rd party front and rear camera retrofit. Although the retrofit went well the company was unable to clear a number of faults, including airbag lights, which they had generated! The owner of this vehicle wanted to add some much needed definition and bass to the standard sound system his Audi A3 came with, and after retrofitting both the Audi Sound System (***) Subwoofer and Centre Speaker came to VAG Car Coding in order to have them Coded and Activated

This video is an example of the before and after software coding process, basically showing that the needed speaker activation will also add a new Subwoofer control to the MMI system.

The owner of this vehicle contacted VAG Car Coding after his Audi MMI system developed both sound and access issues. After completing both physical and software based diagnostics a fault with the DAB Radio unit was found, the unit replaced and normal service was returned! Sounds simple enough? Wrong! lol Full component protection removal,
