ive recently fitted a milltek downpipe with decat married to a non resonated milltek straight through, ever since then I've had fault code for the cat which I expect until I get it mapped again but the problem I have is this P0234 overboost condition fault code. I've changed the N75 valve, map sensor and the turbo as per Ross-tech but to no avail. Does anyone know if this could be due to the fact there is no cat so ultimately there is less back pressure? If so should this be rectified by another remap to suit

I will start from checking vacuum lines and if the turbo waste gate working properly.

The wastgate must be working as the turbo is new, I will check the vacuum lines and see if I can see anything. Thing is though it pulls hard in the first and second right round but in third onwards it just dies after 3.5k revs

It's ok having the GFB DV+ but is your OEM DV part ok as that won't help if it's split in the first place?

What can split on the oem side? I thought it only used the solenoid?

Ok so I've just fitted my OEM diverter valve rev 'g' and took it for a drive firstly I noticed the flutter on fear change seemed a lot louder than with the GFB but also it pulled really hard through all the gears but then after about 10 mins of flying down the 'lanes' (national speed limit) its cut the boost on me whilst in fifth and now the diverted valve sounds like it may be split on gear changes. I'll take it off tomorrow after work and see if I can see if it is split. If this is the case what can I do to make the GFB work? Is it just a case of buying a new DV just for the solenoid?

Ok it's worth a try for the sake of £40 I suppose, hopefully it sorts it out. Thanks for your help

Mine does exactly this, but it is a 2.0 tdi

Mine turned out to be one of the vacuum hoses that goes onto the n75 valve had come off

Ah I see, where abouts is the n 75 valve? I assume mine would be in the same area as yours on the s3?

Cheers

If it is then it's on the turbo. If you take your drivers side wheel arch liner out and look up the side of the intercooler pipe you will see it, it has 3 pipes connected to it
