Hey All

Recently purchased a Audi A3 170 S-Tronic S-Line Sportback

I have come from a 3 door black edition , while the new car is lower millage much higher spec and the 4 doors i of course wanted i could not find one with the black edition specification so this starts the plan of slowly making it into a black edition.

It allready has the Xenon Headlights / Bluetooth etc so i can comprised a list of required parts and just want to ask if people think i have missed anything

Interior

  • Flat Bottom Wheel

Exterior

  • Front Grill (Black)
  • Fog Light Grills / Surrounds
  • Door Handles (Currently have the slight chrome strip)
  • Wheels (Rotor Style)

Also does anyone know a good place to source the black edition parts , i have searched ebay but hard to find genuine parts.

Cheers All

Dave

RNS-E was also part of the black edition (well, on the later S3's anyway). Also, rear tints was included.

The only other BE part I can think of that is not on your list are the gloss black b-pillars. In regards to finding genuine parts, you've got the parts request function on here and mjr901 (Mike) on facebook who is an Audi parts manager. Although, ebay will still probably be the best place to source the Rotars, just make sure you go for genuine one's and not the reps made of cheese.

Will check out the b-pillar thanks :)

I will speak to mjr901 for official part numbers in help with my search, thanks :)

And yeah I noticed so many reps of the rotors on eBay, will look out for some good genuine ones, or maybe a swap request if someone wants or prefers the S-line versions.

I've been running rotor reps for over 3 years now - not had a single issue with them buckling etc... even with the sh1t roads in Gloucestershire. In fact, I hit a pot hole last Month and it ****** one of my front roll bar drop link ball joints, but the wheel didn't even need re-balancing!

The good thing about them is that they have a better offset than OEM alloys so no need for spacers.

Don't forget you can wrap your chrome bits if needed. Much more cost effective than buying OEM trim parts.

My "Black Edition" S7 is wrapped :racer:
