BW23, (w/c 5 June), is the official commencement of MY18 builds. By all accounts BW22 is the change over week when the last of the MY17's are built and some 18"s may go into production.

Mine says it's build is w/c 29 May and that it's a MY18 so that lines up with what Soot1e says above.

mine just changed from 19th July to 5th June

Not confirmed yet still saying expected so no guarantee

ROTR Price now changed on configurator
£45,200

You can now spec 19' Rotors

Cool that's true I won on my rs3 I never specced any nav and got it and something else for free as the update happened before my build I also ducked the price increase. It did take 9months to come tho. We actually had the baby arrive a week before the Rs lol
Same here free satnav! Think it was Oct 15 built cars?

There's coding problems on it, it won't let you select the rotors on the black edition makes you keep the multi spoke 18's think it will take a little bit of time to sort before it is correct

You can now build MY18 spec car on configurator.
Piano black inlays are now £200 option, previously they were £0.
There may be other small differences...

It's a shame Audi are pulling this kind of stunt. As it is, with Brexit and the new VEL rates, I'm nervous about replacing my existing A4. Piano black ought not to cost £200 when it was free from inception.

So I spec'd my MY17 on the configurator today. Even though heated seats & rear camera are standard and leather seats are £450 cheaper it still comes in at £1450 dearer.

Wow, £200 for something I have that cost me nothing?

Brexit hasn't happened yet, just wait for the MY20 price hikes

I just did a like for like on the configurator and it came in at £1,375 more expensive.

My MY17 spec now comes out at £1400 more expensive and that's with the 1.4 petrol engine. Looks like they have dropped the 2.0 190 manual option, hopefully that will help mine keep its value, unless they dropped it as no one buys it :)

We placed our order nearly 4 weeks ago but added the tech pack a week later which was accepted, as we have been away for the last 2 weeks we haven't got an order number from the dealer yet. Was wondering if we are likely to get a MY18 car? What are the manufacturing times from order to delivery normally?

We have ordered the 2.0Tfsi s-line avant in Daytona grey with reversing camera, heated seats, acoustic privacy glass & tech pack.

Would be nice to get a MY18 version with the virtual cockpit & other added extras that are coming.

Hi r8orew - did you order a manual or s-tronic? I ordered a manual 2.0 Tfsi S-line on 19th April but hadn't had an order number. Chased the dealership last week and got an e-mail yesterday advising they were no longer able to order the car as Audi had pulled that derivative.

Hopefully you've ordered the s-tropic and all is good!

Thanks for the reply. We have ordered the auto so should be OK on that front.

What you going to do now did they offer any solution?

They showed a list of all the unallocated manual 2.0 petrols that were in the build process but not assigned to customers. They're contacting the dealer of the one that's the best compromise and we're waiting to hear back.

Great news. Just spoke to the dealer and our Audi will be a MY18. Bad news is it won't be here till August and we need it middle July. Deal says they'll provide a car to cover.

The lease company my car is on order with now informs me delivery is now w/c 3rd July.
It was ordered mid March with an original estimate of mid May, then delayed until w/c 19th June.
Suuuuurely this means a MY18?!?

Probably will be. Mine landed in the UK today and was built week 22 which was the first MY18 week. Fingers crossed for you.

Crikey you ordered in January??.. I'm going slightly crazy waiting for mine, feck knows what you must be like!?!

Not sure if these dates and figures help anyone? I have bought a dealer 'stock' car, looks like one of the last MY17 cars, possibly why they where keen for me to have it, spec is way higher than I had specced myself and the price came tumbling down so I am happy. It's status 40 at present, dealer reckons 5-7 working days for delivery to them.

Mine is being built on 19th June apparently. Does that mean its likely to be delivered sometime in July? To the guys who have delayed delivery till September - how receptive were the dealers to this request? Think I probably want rid of my current car before something expensive goes wrong with it but it's gonna be frustratingly close to the new plates!

Mine didn't care and I made it clear I didn't want delivery until 1st Sept, that was in the middle of April when I ordered.
