Audi A3 8V MIB 2 retrofit prefacelift

Hello everyone

Yesterday i retrofit the MIB 2 main unit with part number 8V1035035.

everything works, except Audi connect. I can't find Audi Connect in the main menu ?

Is there anything else that needs to be adjusted with VCDS ?

Was the MMIv2 unit new and previously unused or was it 2nd hand?

2nd hand.

Sounds like the unit you have purchased is not activated for Audi Connect then, as a used unit should work once all needed coding has been completed and component protection removed.

Do you know what exactly to coding ? I have VCDS.

Did you compete the works yourself or did you have an installer do the retrofit?

I did the retrofit itself, coding the main unit to my vinnumber etc etc did the seller.

You will need to get in contact with them in order to have connect activated via software version management, cannot be done via VCDS.

Here in the UK dealers normally don't get involved in projects like this but it never hurts to ask to see if they can help.
