Hi everyone,

Ive been poking around this site for a bit but haven't really introduced myself.

I own a 2012 A5 2.0TDIe and im an active user on A5OC.

Has one else on here got the same engine? If so, how do you find it?

I would have liked to have bought a more powerful car but being only 24 years old the insurance just seem ridiculous. Held my license for 7 years, never had a point or a bump in any car and the insurance companies still don't seem to give me a break lol.

You maybe best asking your question in a separate thread in the A5 section. You're more likely to get attention from A5 owners in there :)

Everything is still completely stock at the moment. I've been out of the country since January and been on a bit of a spending spree and things for the car so I've got a lot of things to fit to it when I get home and it'll look completely different!

All in all, this is everything waiting to be fitted:

19" Grey Rotor alloys
JOM Blueline coilovers
Custom Exhaust
LED Tail lights
RS5 Grill
Side Blades
Brake Caliper painting red
K&N panel Filter
15mm Front 20mm Rear spacers
Custom Flat bottom steering wheel
Custom 3D black resin number plate

After this ill be getting it remapped at my local tune shop that uses APR software.

All these parts are now building up in the house and the Mrs is starting to complain that they are taking up so much room.. Haha

Im also trying to find the S-line front and rear bumpers but cant seem to find any decent ones for sale!
 
I have yes, that's where I picked up the wheels from. I haven't tried the parts request system yet but ill give it a whirl now, thanks.

Its ok.. Im from South Wales, more civilization there! Haha. Ok brilliant, just hope I put enough info

Cheers Dan, will do! I've seen your company has been recommended to insure modified cars so ill be getting in touch as soon as my current policy is up!
