What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

I've been really pleased with the stuff I got. Though the Wet Coat isn't going to last long. Still a good product.

Anyone tried the gyeon q2 can coat??"

Bought the Fusso about 2 months ago - used on the A6 and the better half's Corsa.

Without doubt the most challenging wax I have worked with. If you leave too long it is a pig to get off, I have found that less is not better - the Nipon FB page videos shows putting on more heavily works best which i do agree with.

Once on the beading and sheeting properties are really good - washed both cars at least 6 times whilst on and it is still doing really well, very easy to clean and holding up really well.

Also a really good alternative if you sniff glue - it is very pungent and gets up your nose.

So impressed ordered a few other bits from the same company.

Bought a 6m hose extender for my old Karcher K2 pressure washer. Surprise surprise it doesn't fit. Oh dear, looks like I have to buy a new washer now! Makes much more sense than sending back the new hose :whistle2:

@Steelster if you haven't already bought a new pressure washer? It's worth double checking, I have a K2 and bought the extension, from memory I'm sure you have do some jiggery pokery reversing the connectors. I think there was a YouTube video on line.

Yeah mate, that is the exact video I was using as well but I have tried and failed many times to unscrew that first part! Maybe will try again when I've had some spinach!!

I need to stock up for the spring/summer. Got CarPro Cquartz Uk to go on the wife's new mini, but need some pads, tyre gel and some QD to keep me ticking over!

I have a k2 and bought the extension hose, I used a pair of pliers and was easy. The only downside to the extension is the reach as it want to coil back up.

I'm not very good at diy either.

Sorry for side tracking the thread, but what MINI did your wife get? We've had three so far and they are great drivers cars.

Here we go again. :)

Cleaning Stuff

I also got a bottle of Korrosol.

I've started stocking up on new stuff for the car which is arriving very soon. Trouble is there's LOTS more to order. :)

Thanks for that. I ordered it as it looked pretty good value for money. I then saw a review online but it didn't seem to do too well, but when mine showed up it had none of the problems listed in the review so I'm pretty happy. Always good to hear comments from people who have actually bought stuff. :)

I got one of these, didn't perform as well as I had hoped but to be fair I washed it first and didn't have time to dry fully so was probably still full of water from the washing!

@Keef I managed to unscrew the end of the hose and attach it to the K2. Only issue now is the fitting on the thread seems to be so tight that it is absolutely fused on. There is no taking this extension off now! Not sure if it is just my paranoia or that I've used a friends much more powerful petrol washer recently but it seems to have lost some of the power? 6m wouldn't be long enough I didn't think but it doesn't feel too gutsy right now!

well I was about to say I've never noticed any power loss, but thinking about it I never used it without the extension!

She's got another Mini One in Moonwalk Grey. This is her third Mini as well. The wee 1.2 turbo is a cracking wee engine. 1.5 even better.

Hi

This week I purchased bouncer's done and dusted quick detailer 500ml and have to say it's very good. Easy to use and gives a great shine with very little effort. Not the cheapest, but I didn't use a huge amount to get great results.
