Hi guys bought a a6 avant yesterday in daytona grey, 1 owner since new and only covered 38,500 miles, has lots of extras including bose and soft close doors, and the higher resolution sat nav screen, went all the way to Guildford from Leicestershire to collect it, absolutely mint inside and out, a couple of the alloys have marks and will need a refurb to make the car look absolutely brand new, the inside is like showroom condition and still smells new, full size spare wheel unused, very happy new owner, my last car was an A3 sportback, just got in from work so took a couple of quick pics, will take some more once I've given it a clean and wax and got some megs tyre dressing on :)

The car looks awesome. As you said, it's in fantastic condition and has been well looked after, nice low mileage as well considering it's reg plate. Enjoy to the max. :)

Yeah the mileage is amazingly low, I could have gone newer but they were all higher mileage

It looks like the car has been really well looked after as is, look forward to the pics when you have washed and waxed it. It's got to be the deal if the year. Let's face it, the average mileage per annum is between 8-10k yours is way below average. Enjoy it.

The guy has only used it for 1 month a year since buying it to travel round Europe every summer, has full audi service history, Cambelt and waterpump were done 2000 miles ago, and the multitronic oil was changed around the same time, got very lucky I think and it's a testament to the last owner, he was very sad to see the car go

I can understand that, it really is an amazing car. You have all those happy miles to enjoy without worrying about cambelts etc. :)

Fingers crossed it's like that, I must admit I'm a little wary of the multitronic after reading some of the threads on here

Don't worry about it, if it happens you can deal with it. :)

Managed to give her a clean, 2bm, finished off with poorboys black hole glaze, ex sealant and megs tyre gel, windows cleaned with autoglym fast glass, came up lovely

And here's a quick pic of old and new, first my a3 sportback

And my a6 avant

Looking really nice mate. ...can't believe the mileage. Not sure how I missed that one, would have snapped it up!

Spent 4 weeks looking nearly every minute of every day, for its age which is 8 years old in September its immaculate, I've added 800 miles to the clock in nearly 2 weeks of ownership, I do around 12,000 a year ish

You've got a great long ownership ahead of you as long as you're still into the car! My '58 plate was going strong at 143k miles until some fool in an X5 drove into the back of me 3 weeks ago and killed it :( It was the last of the pre-facelift models, same Daytona grey as yours but with the black optic pack (what they now call black edition).

Lovely looking car, shame some BMW drove into it , what does the optic pack include? What colour are the alloys in the photo? Anthracite? I'm thinking of getting mine done in that colour too

As far as I know it was just any bit of trim that would normally be chrome was black instead which gave it a really stealthy, understated look. Back then I think it was a lot rarer than now where you can get pretty much any car in a 'black edition'.

I had the wheels done to match the car (Daytona Grey) arranged by the guy I got the car from. Most wheel guys will have hundreds of tint shades to choose from. It did look a lot better once they were done.

One thing I'd reccomend in hindsight is getting the spare done too. That way if you end up kerbing one (which is really easy if you do a lot of on street parking in small spaces) there's a quick and easy instant fix.

Good thinking that, the spare is brand new and unused at the minute
