They look excessively bright against the rear lights in that pic. Alot of these LED number plate lights I have seen look overly bright. Is this the case with these ones at all?

Ordered a set for £3.99 worth a punt

OEM Audi on the left, Mine on the right. Same Spec LEDS meaning the perfect brightness, not in your face :)

They could probably be tinted without losing the crispness

I would recommend any of T8UPs lights, i've had some stuff from him on my a3 8l and now got the full interior kit on my b8 and they've all been brilliant. not too bright and in your face like the cheap chinese tat but still give out a nice crisp white light

I checked them against my son-in-laws brand new Merc..... no difference really, except these ones have a better spread

T8UPS I have raised a thread in your member enquiries section regarding this

Thanks

Got mine today. However they are a few mm longer than standard bulbs and although they probably would fit by bending the metal holder I'm not taking the chance on breaking the holder. You can see from the top off one of the leds I did try and squeeze it in but it was ridiculously tight and would not go in. Anymore and I'm sure the metal holder would have broken, disappointed. Gonna buy some T8UPS instead.

No doesn't need a harness he sells replacement pill LEDS not the whole light housing mate.

Would be interesting to see in 6 months time how many of the SMDs are still working on the LEDs
