Been having a good old snoop for a different dual outlet rear diffuser for my old bus and it would appear that there is another option available from audi , so if you don't want to go S4 or s-line if you have an SE at the moment this maybe be a change.
comes in both options daul or single outlet , will fit avants and saloons and better still its an OEM part.
Part number for the dual is: 8EC071611A
here is a pick of what you get, may need painting though as I cant find a colour option part number..., I am ordering mine shortly.

Definitely different and smart that it's OEM. I've been speaking to a factory in China that produces a carbon fibre diffuser, I'll post a pic and price details when I get home

Not sure if I like it more than the sline variant or not.

You buying one rob?

I like that......but I think it would be better with mesh on it or just an opening, without the blanking plate in it.

yep, decided to give one a go, as they are OEM I think they will be a better item fitment wise aswell as they replace the exisiting one , whereas a lot of aftermarket ones fit over or stick out more than the oem ones, once painted up in brilliant black I think it will look spot on Dani, especially with my stainless tips.
Just need to find out how much it is going to damage my pocket....hopefully no more than the other valances , but, it is not a spare part , its an accessory so probably ten times the cost ...lol

i'd leave the vents open with some trusty honeycombe mesh inserted...

I searched for one earlier and it was $300+ so won't be cheap in pound notes with the dreaded Audi Tax added.

I've dropped mike@parts a mail for a price , I have a feeling its going to be approx. £250 carl, a bit more than I would like but would be worth doing though.

They are not cheap, they didn't fit a convertible when I looked so I went with S4 valance for the dirty derv
When I last checked they were £180

that's odd it wouldn't fit the cab jase, as it replaces the the standard valance which is the same fitting on both s-line and SE bumpers...

Rob
When I spoke to guy in Audi he said the converibles have a different part number to the saloon and advant
He thought that the shape of the cab bumper is slightly difffernet
The only option he gave me was S4 as I wanted 4 pipes

If it is £180+ then it's not worth it in my eyes. Yes it's nice but Not worth the extra over the sline.

is your an S4 cab part or saloon/avant S4 part jase, the saloon and avants all use the same part even though the rear bumper are different, I assume the same applies to the cab aswell , same valance moulding but different bumper shape.

well this part is no longer available in the UK since January this year, not sure if I can get it elsewhere in Europe but unlilekly now, so looks like back to the drawing board, shame really as I liked it.

I cut it off an RS4, sanded it to get rid of minor imperfections and bought some RS mesh from Germany to fit in it.

Need to fit mesh, cut the bumper and spray it but you'd need to do the same with these other diffusers anyway.

well found a source for this item despite audi saying there are none available in Europe etc, audi in spain have them in stock for dispatch but not really as cheap as uk part was....not sure about the logistics involved either getting is shipped over from spain , plus it can only be orderered from within Germany...
so they can be purchased but not really a user friendly setup.....one word, codfanglers.....

How much was it roughly Rob when it was available?

the full kit Dani , valance & fittings etc was £230 , which sounds a lot, but since its probably the only real viable replacement that is OEM fitment without fitting issues and looks different to the other diffusers does make it doable for me....
They are in stock at audi spain but at 330.00 euros, after convterting to ££'s that's a lot more than the uk pricing was as of jan this year.
I've found a single outlet version of it for £90.00 new and boxed , but its in Italy, and I need the dual version.
I have pretty made my mind up that I want one now, just need to find one at a semi - sensible price.

if only it was that easy carl........different moulding all together i'm afraid.

single sided version....very tempted to buy it and resell it over here.....and make a few quids ..

If it works out then fair play, but I highly doubt anyone will pay more than £90 for that.

just a though really, there's allways someone looking for something different, just like me...lol

probably not worth the investment.. I'm still on the lookout for a single sided s-line one, because I don't want to pay more than £50! I know that sounds tight, but they are just little bits of plastic in my opinion

not really looking at it as an investment, I wanted the double outlet item because I like the look of it and that's the whole idea of visual enhancements for me really...the single outlet was just a thought and I suspect it would sell quite well as it is different from the rest you see fitted to B7's
At the end of the day it is personal preference and if the cost of a particular look cost a few quid more than it is really worth , then albeit ,its worth it to me....just my input.
