The Navarra black pack has been in the car park for the last couple of months but its the first time I have been able to park next to it to get a side by side shot

Interesting comparison as not seen many, if any at all, side by side shots of what initially look very close colours.

Is the black pack car Sepang and the other Navarra? I'm not a fan of the black pack on the S3, I personally think it cheapens it and looses some character from the front. Others love it so it's just personal choice.

That looks quite light for Navarra almost like exclusive Nogaro.

not spoken to the owner so don't know, was torn between whether it was Navarra or Nogaro

It could be the light playing tricks - a mate at work has a navarra S3 and it looks a lot darker more like estoril is the best way to describe it.

That's not Navarra.
Navarra is very different to Sepang.

I'm with @GSB on this one. My mate just got a Navarra S4 and it's much darker than both of those pics above

That's Nogaro, must have been a special order. Not a fan myself as the inlaws have a Nogaro RS4 and Sepang is way nicer

I'm a huge fan of sepang (well I would be wouldn't I lol) but nogaro is a stunning colour IMO
But would I pay £2k+ for it? Er no
I like navarro but it too much like estoril blue for me

As always, just my opinion of course ... :hi:

@Daveotto - Greta choice of colour for the S3 saloon mate. Lovely colour floret IMHO. Just ask @Snake Pliskin ;) :D

Have to say the chrome makes the s3 look way more premium. The black pack in this instance cheapens the whole look.

Thread title changed Navarra to Nogaro :nogarors4:
Are you going to change it again when you go and see a Navarra? It's (biased opinion coming right up, but bear in mind I've had both Floret and Navarra S3's) sooooo much better...

Have to agree. The floret S3 I had for a while was a black pack version. Whilst I like understated cars, Floret and black took understated down to a level of near invisibility. It just looked so unremarkable and one dimensional...

My Navarra Black Pack... it is a lot darker but has a lot of depth in different light

- I actually ordered without even seeing a Floret S3 saloon in the flesh!!!!

I am actually looking for very understated this time round, as fed up with the attention Sepang gets from all and sundry

If its the wrong choice its maybe only for 1-2 years as I am already planning for a Porsche Cayman as my next car purchase

I did the same with Navarra! Very very (very) pleased with it though. Here my two cars for comparison, both taken under the same lighting conditions;

Cayman is a beast, and I was considering one myself, but doesn't the new engine put you off? The 718's adoption of a 4 pot engine for efficiency reasons, that's actually no more efficient than the far nicer 6 pot it replaced is surely a massive own goal for Porsche?

It is putting me off a little, but most of the reviews are positive even if it does not sound the same, and IMHO the 718 styling is spot on. Still got plenty of time to make my mind up as its still 2 months before I even get the S3 Saloon....lol

@Daveotto that's definitely Nogaro blue mate and it does look stunning on a saloon and for sheer exclusivity it's worth the extra £1500 over and above Navarra or any other blue, yeah l know your a under a £40k Road tax dodger, but for those looking for that something special colour it should be on there shortlist
Audi Exclusive S3 Nogaro Blue Matthew Welch 309

Edit jassy..... Those that say l wouldn't pay the extra for a exclusive paint colour,l would reply l personally would get more satisfaction/pleasure owning a car with a rare colour more than l would owning a car with the technology package advanced plus a standard Audi paint colour

A lot photo editing in them first 2 pics mate but it's still a cracking colour

Nah, just HDR from phone then made the background black and white to make it pop...

The LED lighting in the car park helped

Have to disagree entirely......lol but its a poorly specced exterior wise S3....ITS NOT ALL ABOUT THE PAINT COLOUR

Stunning..its fairly obvious you are using a nice expensive camera to get the clarity and close up pop on the paint

That does look special, and to be honest, never looked at an exclusive as just £1500 extra, as i always choose a metallic/pearl finish anyway, everytime, and never a solid colour.

But every year, the car seems to get dearer, so there is the compromise, i digress.

@Bristle Hound @Daveotto

Yes extremely happy with our floret fleet.
It's a stunning dark moody smoky silver.
& contrasts superbly with black .....

I've managed to get one of the Nogaro S3's without the black pack. absolutely stunning colour.

Nogaro paint does have metallic flakes, however it is very subtle.
