Well i've decided to trade down from my 2014 S-Line as i only drive 8 miles to work, park it up all day, drive home park it up all night and don't use it at the weekends.
I've come to the conclusion the money is best left in the bank until i decide what to do instead of having it tied up in a car that keeps losing value so i'm trading down to a fiesta 1.0 ecoboost Zetec S (yeah i know).
The Fiesta is a year old so has 2 years warranty left where the A3 is now out of warranty and i'm getting a big lump of cashback instead of adding to as i usually do when trading cars.
I know i'll miss the A3 but hoping i'm doing the sensible thing? last fiesta i had was a new ST2 which i had for 20 months - not bad but not great - just ok

Anyhow - anyone interested in a set of front and rear mudflaps to fit a PF S-line (on car for 2 months), heated mist washer jets (1 month old) or alloy pedals + footrest cover from a Golf MK7 GTi let me know :)

Shame you're leaving the fold.

Can you PM me a price on the washer jets?

Can I have a price of the washer jets please?

The EcoBoost is a great car and has plenty of power for its purpose, I had one and loved it.

hmm - can't find a PM link to anyones profile?

Washer jets are the ones from China but work perfect - £10 posted
Front + rear mudflaps are genuine Audi ones, 2 months old (cost around £90) - £50 posted
Pedals are for manual -acc/ brake/ clutch + footrest which screws/bolts to origional (modified from GTI as the full GTi footrest is different but this sits nicely on top and is fixed by 2 allen bolts through with nuts on the back) - £50 posted

Payment by Paypal gift to avoid their fees or can collect from Huddersfield if you prefer

I'm also interested in the mudflaps but I'll let Mike have first refusal.

They are fun little cars the 1.0 eco boosts, sound good as well, had a couple before as courtesy cars and the average fuel consumption for them was around 45mpg

The 125bhp does shift if you put your foot down as well

I had a fiesta st2 m215(64 reg) loved it, and still miss it, I'm quite certain it will be future classic. Handled better that the golf gti! Nowt wrong with the fiesta best little hatch around imo even with the 1.0 ecoboost. Yes the interior isn't amazing but I never had any issues mechanically, electrics or with the interior trim albeit a few rattles and squeaks- but a £27k golf isn't much better - had Issues too! The fiesta is better than than A1 , polo and Corsa imo of course. I see the 140 zetec s/ st line around and quite tempted to get one for work.

Fair play to you Robby, no point in having the cash tied up when it could be doing something else.

As others have said it should be a cracking wee car. Interior aside you probably won't miss much about the A3.

Fiesta seems to be the best handling "normal" car available. Always highly rated. Ford also set the trend with regard to the ecoboost engine, concept now copied by everyone.

Good luck with your Fiesta mate....Hope to see you back soon?

Thanks guys - probably look into getting the Fiesta mapped to 155bhp for around £300 which should make it entertaining :)
