A3 Saloon 1.4 TSFI Exhaust options?

I just moved from a B7 RS4 with a non-res Milly and gutted precats and I loved the noise.

I would love to make my 1.4TSFI COD Ultra a little more meaty... for a 1.4... whats the options out there?

Or is it resonated and could I just have that part removed etc?

Also do bolt-on's and not effect my 3 year Audi warranty?
 
Anyone know if these have a resonated pipe?
 
Just get a custom exhaust made up.
Any half decent company will be able to make a system to exactly the sound your looking for
 
What Marc said.

Do a DP and res delete and you will be happy. Sure you wont get the option to change the tone as the armytrix but you will be pleased with the result at the fraction of the cost of this Armytrix system.
 
@STERLING VOID @Marc18 will DPs need a remap?

I assume that a res delete pipe would be very cost effective to do.

@Marc18 Was your aftermarket filter a kit specific to the car?

Wonder has anyone changed to a louder dumpvalve/wategate? I quite enjoyed the noise on my old Evo8 might might be overkill on a 1.4 A3?

In theory yes a de cat will need a map. Although I'm sure there is a member running a decat with a lambda spacer. Full potential from a decat and exhaust will come with a map though.

The intake I'm running is made from a forge silicone intake hose, a homemade stainless middle pipe and the universal ram air filter.

I'm also running an updated forge recirc valve. Pretty loud when coupled with an open cone.
Look for @marc1893 on instagram, I've got a video of the noise on there. Disregard the exhaust videos though, that exhaust is long gone
 
@STERLING VOID Cheers buddy, I checked out your vid and have to admit the noise from the engine noise is pretty impressive and something I would love to have. Any idea if the airbox in the 1.4 is the same as the 1.8? Is the forge recirc value also just a plug and play?
 
Howdy All, just going to get a custom exhaust done, going to go cat back with res delete for a start.

Anyone know what else to look/ask for, diameter of the exhaust, any requirement on the back-box etc.?

I don't want to lose power, unlikely to gain too much but will get a tuning box also.
 
Does anyone know if the armytrix exhust would work on the 1.8 tfsi, looked on their sites and don't have any for the 1.8 but would have thought that the 1.4 version would still work
 
I see from their site that the 1.4 is no longer listed so assume they have dropped it. I can't imagine that many 1.4 owners would be prepared to pay their prices. Surely an S3 owner's thing?
