could someone fill me in on ali mirror covers! i have been looking on german e-bay and found a few, but when you look at the picture that comes with the ad the case looks quite thick. do the covers clip over the plastic wing mirrors? or do you have to take of the platic casing and replace it with the ali ones? also is it an easy job??? hope someone can help many thanks, darren

Mike is correct.
The Ali mirrors are the 'whole' units and not just covers. There are also two types aswell dependant on model year.
But the main thing to consider is that if you are buying from Germany, the mirrors will be for a LHD spec car! So go carefull....

while you're all talking about the alu mirrors...what happens if you clip someone elses (normal plastic) mirror...i'm guessing you get a scratch and they need a whole new mirror?!!
