Hi all, ready to order an S4 Avant, test drove on Saturday and absolutely delighted. Did the usual car wow/orange wheels crunching today and headed into Glasgow Audi (Braehead) to see what they could do, got nowhere near any of the proposed numbers on CW/OW, to the point where they said they'd be making a loss on it at that price (!) when I showed them the quotes...

Anyone had any good service/deals from any other Scottish dealers? Willing to travel to get the right price, but figured it was worth a check to see if there are any known good un's nearby. We're based in Glasgow. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm near Edinburgh but went with Perth. They actually beat carwow and are very good to deal with, emails and questions dealt with promptly and included additional towbar wiring FOC. Edinburgh were reluctant to discount as much, didn't answer emails (as soon as they thought the sale was in the bag) and wanted 5 hours labour at mega bucks for the same wiring job.

lol, no. Went to Audi Edinburgh to look for a deal on an A4 Allroad 3.0 Sport. After the test drive and such I was emailed a quote.

£2k down and £650 p/m on a Contract Hire over 2 years. Safe to say I ran a mile and found a deal for significantly less with Bolton Audi..

Know a couple of guys at work that went with Cameron's in Perth and John Clark in Dundee as they were getting better deals than anywhere in the central belt.
Personally went with the leasing option which worked out cheaper for me through Slough Audi with car delivered to my door.

Happy hunting.

I bought my S4 from Aberdeen Audi and they guys were a gem. Can't praise them enough. I live in Oxford, took the Caledonian Sleeper from Euston to Aberdeen. The sales guys was there to pick me up at an agreed time of 9am. He called me at 8 to check if I'd arrived safely - impressive. And if I came all way from Oxford, the deal must be worth it

What is it with Parts Department's nowadays? Went into Edinburgh Audi for a 84p widget, talked to Reception, Reception phoned Parts, waited until guy appears, told him what I wanted, he disappears for ages, finally returns with the widget, pays him then he disappears again to get my change, all in about 20 minutes........

Thanks for all the replies, really appreciate it. Will start with Perth and take it from there.

Raz, you'd have thought for 84p they'd have let you away with it!

Can't fault Epsom Audi. Used them on the 2013 A4 B8.5, the guy was brilliant to deal with. Sent loads of pics of the car, even a short video. Detailed everything. Flew down to Heathrow & got the train to near the garage. He then picked us up in a spanking new A8, took us to the dealership, offered tea/coffee. Showed us the car and let us test drive it, etc. All in our own time with no rushing.

Finally settled on a deal and got it delivered up north. Delivery cost should have been £600, but that got wavered and it was delivered to our door on the day mentioned, nice & clean. All extras agreed (like iPhone connectivity cables thrown in, nicks in the wheels repaired, etc) were done and nothing was hidden from us. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

It wasn't quite the same as buying a brand spanking new B9, but at the time the car was 1 year old with 6,000 miles on her, so near enough good as new and the dealer experience was excellent.

I bought mine from Aberdeen Audi (local to me). On the last car I bought from them they matched orangewheels quote with no hassle. This car was one they phoned me up about and also offered a cracking deal. Even though I'm localish I did most of the negotiating by email and phone. Great experience all round and would happily recommend.

I have bought most of my Audi's from Perth (my local) and they usually tell me to go to and get quotes elsewhere and they will beat them. Plus the service is second to none.

Interesting to hear - Aberdeen, Perth and Ayr all been superb - Perth in the process of trying to beat Ayr, which matched Aberdeen - all in all, 3 great dealers trying for the sale. Don't know how Glasgow are limping on if they're so uncompetitive.

Will be concluding with one of them on Thursday - no idea why, but seems every car dealer in the U.K. takes wed as a day off...the winner will simply be the lowest price!

I got mine from Lookers in Stirling. Good deal I think but I was a cash sale.

Thanks all for the steers - just put deposit down with Ayr, excellent service and they matched what Aberdeen quoted (£3 p/m less...) with the exception of the dealer being 120 miles closer to home.

The 3 month wait begins! Avant, Navarra, B+O, pirvacy glass, virtual cockpit, storage pack, extended LED, 19" V, memory seats, flat bottom & pano. Can. Not. Wait.

Good to hear! If you're willing to share, what sort of deal were you quoted on? :)

£7k down, £398 p/m for 48 months @ 10k p/year, adjusting monthly slightly due to extra showroom & road tax after tomorrow to £423 p/m. Very pleased with the numbers and so far so good with Ayr dealer (Jak very professional and good rapport). Discount equates to 11% off list.

Also worth noting they gave us a clear margin above the other dealers (with exception of Aberdeen, who offered the same) in terms of trade-in.

Just thought that I'd weigh in here after ordering my car this afternoon.

Aberdeen Audi were able to get within a couple ££ of the cheapest quote off of Carwow or Orange Wheels. Taking into account ravel to the dealership that was down in Englandshire it's actually even cheaper. Great work from them!

I have to note as well that Perth and Dundee also did a good job trying to match and were quite close too, all did great trying to give me the best offer. In the end because I'm located in Aberdeen and they did a great job with the deal it was a no brainer.

What have you ordered?

I seem to remember that Audi will deliver new cars nationwide from dealerships. Looking at some of them they still are advertising this...

I didn't know that... If it was a big difference monthly I'd look into it but I'm not bothered really. If your local dealership is decent and looks after you then it's nice to buy from them so they're happy to look after you next time.

Every major manufacturer normally does. I've had them delivered from VW, BMW, Merc and now Audi..

A wouldn't fancy that someone Turing up with your new car with their sweaty **** print and a few hundred miles on the clock

Depending on the dealer, they'll stick it on a flatbed for you. I agree - I'm not into other people's sweaty **** prints either..

Obviously the seats and carpets are covered, however as stated, on a flatbed...
