Mine has only done 20k, but now past the five year mark, Im reluctantly going to have it done.

Audi's Fixed price costs are £599 for belt and pump

Local Mechanics want £450 for belt and pump

What is everyone else paying? Recent jobs please, not 'yeah cost me 300 quid in 2011' :)

Had mine done last week at PD motors Taunton.
Cambelt Kit & Water Pump £399 all in.

Great service, took 3 hours, even showed me all the bits after removal which I never asked for.

Thanks for that, seems 399 is the more average rate.

Luckily i'm close to AMD in Essex who will do it for £315, which seems a bargain.

I phoned around, apart from main dealer who was £600, all smaller garages were quoting £450.

PD motors is a VAG independent dealer and also did my REVO remap at a discount because I had other work done.

Its great having the work done by a authorised VAG garage, but not at main dealer prices.

Just under the £400 mark from Audi VW Centre in chippenham

I'll do it for £200 plus parts if you're in the Midlands :)

I was going to say, must be around £180 in parts with the water pump as well.

I paid £399 about 8 weeks ago at a local German indie using all Genuine parts from TPS for cam belt & water pump.
