Fuming to say the least, parked up on an empty street for no more than 30 mins and came back to my car looking like this

Now before I take the plunge to get it fixed, does anyone have an idea how much this will roughly cost? I've spoken to various people already but prices don't seem to be consistent.

If anyone knows a good repairer in London also, please let me know.

Thanks

Gutted for you mate.
Anyone doing this and running away is scum.
Is it paint or rubber that's left the black scuff? I assume it's paint.

Yup absolute scum, was parked outside a store so I hope they find some cctv footage of the person who did it.

And it was a bit of both, there was bits of black vinyl stuck to my bumper so I'm guessing the vehicle was wrapped. Some of it did polish off but the intake area has lost most of its paint :blue:

Is it dented at all or paint only? If paint only I think you'd be looking at circa £200. I had the front end of an A4 resprayed for £200 cash and you'd of never known.

No dents thankfully, just paint plus quite a number of scratches

@S37S where in London are you? I had similar damage in similar circumstances this time last year and can recommend someone out in Chigwell if that is any good to you

You could try some Tardis or thinners to get rid of most of the black rubber/ vinyl, some scratches might polish out with a DA + compound then a smart repair on the rest should be maybe £100

Did you see any cameras on the shops or street poles as you might catch the other car in the act?

Ah, sorry to see this mate. Hope you get it fixed soon and without much hassle and cost.

I've used some polish already, the black marks off the wing have pretty much come off but there's still a few marks that wont budge, as well as a number of scratches. Tried my best on the front bumper but its completely ******** :(

And yes I asked a shop and they said they would get back to me, so hoping for the best

I'm in west london but willing to travel if the job is spot on at a reasonable cost

Will take you two trips across London, one to assess the job and then second to do it, expect someone on here will have a recommendation closer to you. If you don't have any luck PM me and I will forward on the details

It depends on if they paint the whole front bumper. We just had a wing repaired for £250 with a dent pulled out, I'd day if it's a full bumper and wing then you are looking at £300-£350. If it's partial bumper and wing, £250.

Hopefully because it's mainly on the front of the wing, that they can blend it into the wing and stay away from the door.

Gutted for you, nightmare :'(

Quick question, I have always wondered where your centre caps have gone? haha.

Those prices sound about right mate, cars booked in at Audi also so hopefully they can recommend someone spot on.

The locking bolt I got for the spacers is slightly too big for them to fit back on. Been meaning to get a new set but keep forgetting :grimacing: I do like the wheels more with the bolts showing though, just need to cover the centre area alone if that's even possible.

Sounds good, make sure you tell them that you are really fussy ;)

Ahh that makes sense. You can cover the centre up alone, you will have to figure out the right size but you can get round centre caps.

Have a shop around for the right size, that's just an example. You could also then just get the wheel nut covers, that way they are still exposed....
