Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift A3/S3 8V In Here

That's the best way at least then you won't be able to see the swirls...! :)

Have you considered having it coated? It's expensive and unfortunately I can't afford it for my car when it arrives, but it would be good in your case as you don't intend to be washing it every week.

Hmm, food for thought but I doubt it. I did try and get Audi to throw it in for free but they were having none of it... Obviously I like how the car looks but I'd be more fussy about the cockpit than the outside so, like I said, I'll probably go for the dirty look.

Wiper delete done today after a detail, sorry for the quality, taken from Snapchat.

The glass bung was taken from the Golf R, it JUST fits but its extremely tight, will do for now until i get a replacement bung.

Yes please, that is what I am thinking. Alcantara would add a nice touch to the car I think.

  • Extended leather pack.
  • Virtual Cockpit.

That's a First......on here lol 10/10 for originality...mate

Cheers James, was a proper ball ache getting it right. Even after digitising the sticker that came off it needed tweaking slightly. £30+ worth of vinyl just to use a tiny bit for that :tearsofjoy:

Cheers, if I get bored I'll change it to another colour, 100's to choose from lol

I'll agree with you there, people always say it about things like if there a small mark - 'you can't even see it' but when you know it's there, that's why everything has to be spot on.

lol I took the wet and dry to the R32's bumper before it went to get rid of a scratch. Wouldn't have dreamed of doing it a few years back.

The Alcantara looks great. Anyone know if these are available in Australia, or only SPP1 SPP2?

Me neither.. it sort of just happened that I got a red car.. originally had a deposit on a PFL glacier white Sportback, but the dealer did a deal on this FL.. Really happy with it. I've had it paint protected and it's supposed to protect from UV issues.

Thanks.. This one is called Tango Red and is richer in tone than the previous reds for the S3 and really looks the part. I think...

Looks fantastic- I tossed a coin on Tango and Panther have both red (mkv gti) and black bmw135. Both make a statement.

Couple of pics from this weekend. Took a trip upto the Lakes (from Southampton). Had awesome weather, epic roads (second pic is from Kirkstone pass) and had a great time in general, it's such a beautiful part of the country. S3 didn't miss a beat and got to really give it some beans, gelling with her more and more now. It's taken a while to get my head around the gearbox and steering feel. Also had a small blast with an M135i on the M6 coming home, considering I was loaded up with luggage and the missus ... well, pulled away from the 135 slowly, those things are quick. Used two tanks of fuel, averaged around 36mpg in total, so really impressed with that aswell! Total of 747 miles and now she really needs a bath...

Was working over kirkstone pass on Saturday, saw a Porsche that had ran into a wall and ripped a wheel off a 4x4...Early morning blast I think :whistle2:

Then saw a r32 skyline and a r34 skyline on the way home

Brilliant weather in the highlands this weekend, left early and had a great drive over the Lecht road (A939) from Aberdeen to Aviemore on near enough empty roads. Still quite a lot of skiers making the most of the last bits of snow on Cairngorm. Couple of photos of our new S3 black edition in two tone Navarra blue / road salt grey. Was a bit unsure with Navarra when ordering as had not seen it 'in the metal' and doesn't look great on the Audi configurator but shouldn't have worried - it's a great colour, especially when the sun is shining!

Took mine a run up the Trossachs and around Loch Earn yesterday. Had a nice RS4 behind me some of the way, first straight bit of road I went for it passing 3cars, the RS4 wasn't interested in the slightest. Lol
5 year old daughter was doing my head in so forgot to get a pic of the car but here's one of the view. Don't get many nice days up here so making the most of it.

I really like the alcantara in the door card. Honestly didn't know that would be an option, saw it on some of the s4's and RS6's in the showroom but thought it was unique for the more expensive models.

looks awesome! :D

Oh really... i spent most of my time avoiding insane cyclists. They're actual nutters! I just make sure the S3 makes a nice loud 'fart' upshift to announce my displeasure lol :)

Was up that way last weekend.
Along Loch Tay (Kenmore to Killin), up through the snow and down to Lochearnhead, along Loch Earn to St Fillans, Comrie, Crieff and Gleneagles.
Then down Glendevon.
Stunning drive and perfectly suited to the S3.

Not enough Cosmos Blue pics on here so added these 2 . 2nd pic shows up how it looks in strong light and is totally different when seen in lower light levels when it can be navy blue or even black or again in stronger light but from a changed angle will appear purple. Very unusual colour but I am glad I went for it.
Lets see some more to compete with all these s3 owners with their Ara and Navvaro blues

I ended up going home down the m6 rather than going back over kirkstone, couldn't be bothered with cyclists...And the 1.6 peaguot expert wouldn't fair so well.

I like the idea of upshift farting to let people now :racer:

That looks amazing!! It was such a tough choice for me between Ara and Navarra, hoping the Ara looks half as good as some of those photos and I'll be happy!
