What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

Fitted my spacers today today, 12mm front & 15mm rear.

Got to say I love the way the wheels & tyres now fill out the arches, they looked a bit lost in there before.
Also put the R8 coil packs in.

So I made myself a promise to do something each month and I did, so here it goes. Does the black wrap for door trim work because then I will do all trim like that?

So I don't know where to post this. The time to do lowering of my car is coming close. Either cheap coil overs or eibach pro_kit. I actually think Pro-kit because I like ease of life. Advice please?

Great work.

I will eventually need to replace my electric buttons as the soft plastic has worn on some of them.

Its just a ******* to pry out the drivers side electric buttons.

Best to start your own thread mate. Members will help.

Ive been told its fairly easy to go spring route.

Me personally, Im getting fully adjustable coilovers installed on my cabby soon as I want that 'drop' to be just sitting how I want it.

Although MUCH harder install.

Well not quite today, but over the weekend I went crazy with the electrical tape to sort out an errant audio connection that kept coming loose and gave the car a thorough interior clean and wash. Then on Sunday I drove up to Telford for my first ever car show: Ultimate Dubs.

There was a decent range of Audis on display inside and in and around the car parks outside, including quite a few B6s. My fave was probably an immaculate silver B5 RS4 Avant by Kleenfreaks from Belgium. Couldn't stop drooling over that pristine V6 Biturbo engine bay!

They had an event photographer strategically placed on a roundabout as you pulled up to the show haha:

Fitted some LED to the high beam..
Love the colour and how fast they come on..
I know it's not much but halogens seems to fade up to max compared to leds.
Tomorrow they will be tested when driving home from work

Hey everyone! Please! I'm new to the VW-Audi scene. I picked up this car for my wife and 4 yr old son to take when She wants a change. I have driven it maybe a few hundred miles myself while my work truck is being fixed and now the Hazard lights blink crazy!!! I have bought and installed a new Hazard button as i searched the net for probable causes/fixes. Now when i activate the hazard button it blinks regularly when i turn it off they go twice as fast. I found that the door locks will lock but wont unlock on the driver side and when the car is running after a few min i can play with the hazard button and door locks to get them to shut off. However as soon as i open the door they go right back to crazy blinking ir regular with the button on. I have already killed my battery a few times so now I disconnect the battery when i park it for longer than five min. The fooling around with the door and hazard button is driving me crazy because it doesn't always work and I'm wondering if anyone has a fix or an idea of what I should look for or at! This weekend I plan on taking the door card out and see what i can see. Can anyone give me some guidance? I really don't want to go pay the high material cost and for mechanics to work on something that is easily remedied like swapping out the hazard switch. Please If you know or have some experience kindly pass it on. thank you

Find someone with a VCDS cable nearby, and get them to check the [17] instrument cluster or the [9] central electronics

I'm almost tempted to jump the gun, and fit them as the car stands...

You need the oem cable as the license to use VCDS is programmed into it

Those LEDs I fitted to the high beam...
Wow, they are SOO much better than halogens XtremeVision H7's

Even the tuned xenon seems to fade compared to them..

Looking into the project of fitting LED to the xenon projectors now...

Do you have a link to the bulbs you bought? More light is always a good thing.

Sure
https://www.ebay.de/itm/122245106324

The driver is build-in. And my car haven't showed an error after install.
Only thing is you need to take out the bulb holder as the spring lock can't get over the led bulb..
It's a bit fiddly but an easy job after all

Maybe not oem but gonna give it the ole college try for $7 rather than plunk down the $300 off the ross tech site. Seeing as though this is a 5th car in the driveway Im not too gassed to spend money jus yet. Got another project or two and a sale to make b4 this Quattro is my daily driver. I'm new to the VW-Audi tinkering although I an anxious I gotta wait to purchase large ticket items. and thank you for your help so far.

Currently in the waiting room on my laptop haha.

Fixing the buttons up with a black marker can make a world of difference
Only at night it'll stay noticable when the backlights are on, but during the day you can make it look near to invisible from a distance.

Fitted summerwheels, vacuumed it and changed the rubber mats to normal "summer" mats

Love those wheels! Was tempted to get a set myself but I think they look better on avant's than saloon's.
