The guy in the Aston doesn't seem as bothered though.
Mrs went shopping with her mum, so I nipped to the zoo for an hour or so....parked well out of the way and right on the end with a space between me and the car next door = one side at risk MAX

I hate inconsiderate people, I always try to park out the way, at work is the worst as you have all the trolley dollies parking there. Believe it or not I actually had a note left on my new ( to me ) car today. " look at me, I am that important I need 2 spaces, T**T.
The insult really hurt me. Not. I'd understand if I was actually parked in 2 bays but I wasn't, it's one parking pay on the corner. Yes you can fit 2 cars there I understand that but there isn't another white line to class it as a parking space.

This is a overflow car park for the surrounding units. On days I use this instead of using the works own car park which is in front of that building marked "I work here".

When spaces are short, the other strategy I use sometimes is to seek out nice/expensive/well looked after cars to part next to. Their owners are going to be as careful as I am.
Parking 'alone' can be risky anyway - I once had a door dinged by an old couple who parked too close to me on the top floor of an otherwise empty car car park! I think they through they need to park 'neatly next to another car' or something similarly daft :-(

Ikea visits always leave me a nervous wreck with the thought of all those dodgy wheeled trollies filled with oversized flat pack furniture boxes!!!!!!!!!!

Since owning the Audi, I go for the best parking spots everywhere. If I got to use public car parking, I make it a priority to go early on purpose to scan for the best spots.
