My Audi went bang!

Well, as the title says, my A4 went bang.
I had a B6 2.0 Fsi and the timing jumped a tooth so the engine just died. It's gone to scrap heaven now!

As a result I have two spare items
Fuel filter - Free just pay postage
DRL's - These are the DRL's that replace the fog grilles, look OEM. RRP is £110, I'd do £55 + postage
Inbox me or leave a message here about either

As for me and cars, I'm throwing in the towel and going for a modern fuel efficient commuter car, Seat Leon. It's a sad day when I leave my old cars behind (I love them) but doing 23k+ a year, I do need a certain element of reliability and peace of mind. I think I'll save up a little bit and get a nice B6 S4 in a year or so, a weekend car that I can spank round a track or something.
 
Damn, that's bad luck. Just one tooth and it's killed it, sorry to hear that.

Shame as full service history too, so wasn't even due for another 20k or 3 years

My daughter has a 2010 Seat Ibiza 1.4 sport and the noise level compared to my Audi is terrrible. You'd think with a newer car it would be streets ahead but it isn't.
I'd bet your car doesn't hit the scrap heap, someone will put an engine in it.
 
If the car isn't gone already, I'd be interested in buying it. I'm after a decent B6, which will be my daily, while I build B6 420-TS.

This is a 2013 Leon, already driven it and it's superb, it's basically a golf but without the price tag. Same platform, same interior gadgets, same engines, just different badge.

Yeah spoke to the scrap company, they said they were going to auction it off
 
Ahhh sorry to hear that. But as you say these things happen.

Write it off and come back with a B6 S4 in the future!

Yup, written it off and picked up the Leon yesterday, it's a wonderful car! She'll be a good commuter.

B6 S4 could well be on the cards by the end of the year as a weekender, if I don't buy another motorbike haha!
