I have recently noticed a ssh sound whenever the turbo kicks in is this normal as performance seems ok this may sound stupid but it maybe losing air or something, its standard at the mo.. any ideas????

My intake is noisier during winter months due to lower temps/denser air - sounds like a stampede of panto elephants wearing slippers. No harm tho in checking jubilee clips and hose connections tho as a matter of course (esp if you're s3 is remapped).

Yeah mine sounds different no that the whether has got colder. SOunds like it is just your intake sucking, but as said, no harm in checking to see if it is something else.
