Hi all,

Completely fresh to the Audi brand. Yesterday I took delivery of a 2010 S3 in Solar Orange. After reading that they are the most popular car for car thieves I am now bricking it! A) I have a 8 month pregnant Mrs who will be driving it occasionally & B) It is immaculate and orange!! What security measures are people taking in order to keep their pride and joy safe? Other than the obvious CCTV and a steering lock of course!

Welcome along. It has tended to be newer S3s going walk about. Especially the SportBack variant.
If we are talking house security, a lot has been said about reinforced doors, films over the glass to make them shatterproof, flood light the front or where the car sits, and best of all, get a big loud dog! I have the latter!! Enjoy the car, don't let what you've read put you off.

Check out the obdportector link above, it's costly but it's a great piece of kit. Enjoy the car Joe, you will love it. :)

Ah ok! I remember when this shape came out it was popular with car thieves. I've seen a few of my shape recently been stolen one of which from a forecourt down in Essex. We have a big German Pointer soft as anything but does make a row! haha - I guess it's just a car!

Thanks! I just spotted that afterwards :) well worth it, is this something an Audi centre would fit? Or a DIY job?

They are fitted by the obd company. Have read on the link it gives all the info you require.
